Yes, Pucci's looking VERY good these days--alert, hungry, loving, hungry, moving quicker, hungry, more steady on her feet, hungry, interested in the outside critters (birds, squirrels)... oh, and did I say she's got a great appetite? (LOL)

As for Calvin (and Hobbes):

The TWINZ were born approximately April 26, 2005 in The San Fernando Valley (Valley BOYZ) along with 6 siblings (ALL boys!) who are all striped just like Hobbes--three with short hair; 3 with long hair. We don't know if their mother deserted the litter, or if the people who found the litter in an over-grown area of a vacant lot just scooped them all up and brought them to the Vet's office without waiting to see if the mother cat returned to them. Luckily, there was a nursing mother cat at the Vet's; she was just beginning to ween her own kittens, so the 8 boys took turns suckling her, too, until they were old enough to be weened. Calvin & Hobbes were the last 2 to be adopted.

Calvin is the only White Boy in the entire litter.

Calvin weighs 13 lbs. 6 ounces, and is still growing.

Calvin loves squishy toys that sing (a lady bug that sings LET ME CALL YOU SWEETHEART and a reindeer that sings GRANDMA GOT RUN OVER BY A REINDEER)), kitty grass, tuna, Fancy Feast, playing with his brother, and being held in my lap. He learned to turn on the bathroom faucet, and loves to dabble his front paws in the water. He also loves to have his face washed with a warm, wet paper towel.

Calvin (and Hobbes) destroyed every artificial plant and decorative tree in our house during the first 4 months they lived with us, so... Christmas Trees may never be an option again in our lifetimes!

Calvin loves to watch the birds and squirrels who feed on our deck--too much--we had to stop allowing any of our cats "deck time" because Calvin is too quick and jumps too high; birds-in-flight are no longer safe.

Calvin has forged relationships through the screen with the raccoons and the o'possums who come up the oak tree to our deck at night.

Calvin was also paralized by an alien being when he was only 4 months old, so every night at 12:30 a.m. he goes a little BONKERS... he tears around the house for 20 minutes, leaping from half-wall to half-wall, ledge-to-ledge, dresser-to-dresser, looking out the windows up at the sky, until he wears himself out and falls over (exhausted) on the bed beside me.

He loves TV: basketball games, soccer games; the Animal Planet Channel, and action movies.

Calvin also alerts us when there's a spider on the ceiling, and catches flies in mid-air.

He dominates most of the older cats (altho Pucci's fastest-paw-in-the-West has taught him to respect her space!), but when the doorbell rings, he's the first one in the closet. (Hobbes, on the other hand, greets everyone as if they've been his friend forever!)

Calvin spends lots of time cleaning and sleeping when he not flying around the house like Super-White-Boy.

Maybe, one of these days, he'll grow up mentally, and STOP growing physically! (Hobbes is half his size, but all solid muscle, and weighs 9 lbs.)

Calvin on a hot, low-key day in Hollywood.

He often sleeps with his hind feet in the grass; it must make him feel like he's half in the wild...

Well, I would say that Calvin certainly qualifies for a deck job. He would, of course, receive only minimum wage (which we do plan on raising, by two or three cents per hour, sometime in the next three or four years} and he would be entitled to keep all the rats he catches.

I can tell you right now, he won't want to keep them; once they don't go Vrrroooooom! Vrrrooooom! Vrrroooom! on their own, anymore, he loses interest. But I'm sure the wage you're offering would satisfy his yearning for a cash.

This nest is much better suited for a Seagull
than a Crow.

My first trip up here. Decided to bring along a friend, the desert crow from Badwater, in Death Valley.

Sure is peaceful, almost lonely....
