Yah, it's gotten pretty snarky around here. I have received many comments from the pirate crew along these lines. They no longer contribute to the forum, or find it has much value. Sad.
And, maybe Ian should not give up on us. There are many more supporters than detractors here.
Then again, a forum can take just so much negativity - and it implodes...
If too many posters here just don't care, and feel a forum is a good place just to rant and post bad news - even if it is serious bad news - this will have an inevitable effect.
hmmmm. I might have an idea.... ;->
Will think about it for a bit.

But...shouldn't we then be equally concerned about George?
And for the record, just because I quoted back Shirleypal doesn't mean I'm singling her out. We're all guilty of it.
Mike and Linnea's posts were a wake-up call for me this morning. I, for one, will take better care in what I say. It does rattle you when you realize the person you're discussing is reading. It further rattles you to find out they're no longer reading because of it.
Did you ever stop to think, and then forget to start again?
Aside from the imbalance here, as far as positive/negative - I do admire the most of us telling it as we see it, pirate style.
And what? Ian is too puny to read a few meagre criticisms? None of the comment here regarding Ian is agenda driven.
And you know what else? George Noory has certainly taken it. Taken it from all directions. AND still not only reads this board, but contributes to this board. Even discusses this forum on the air. Sends his friends and enemies here. That takes courage and a certain elan that I admire. In fact, as far as this forum goes - Noory has given it more support than Art or Ian has given it. My opinion of Noory steadily improves.
Thinking about all this - gives me hope. Hope that we are strong. That we can get through the bad times. That we are freely expressing here a measure of what is going on in the world around us. We do have a mess on our hands out there in this struggling-toward-type one civilization. George Noory has the courage to embrace it, and so should Ian Punnett.

Standing O, in fact.

That's all I care about, CF.
You will NEVER lose Yer honor to edit. Not on our watch.
P.S. In case my above didn't make it clear: Thank You again for the cool-headed reminder. You always manage to bring order in a world of chaos.
