What the **** is going on why the hell are they talking about **** you would hear in the msm all ****ing day long. I thought c2c was supposed to be different. Ever since ian did his ****ing religious bull**** this show has gone down the ****ing drain these people need to pull their ****ing heads out of their asses and get back to what c2c is supposed to be about. I guess you can tell I'm a bit pissed off.
Sorry Shirl, I didn't bother making the effort to be on the ORR last night when I heard what the guest was going to be.
I did hear the repeat of the first hour this morning. Did this guy actually had wiki as a source? That's brutal in every aspect. He seems to be throwing everything up and wanting anything to stick. I don't know what to think of Ian, he did a decent job in questioning him when his sources are at best hearsay and mostly laughable. Part of me thinks this guy shouldn't even be on as he sounds like a joke, but another part of me thinks the right-wing media would no doubt have him on and let him speak without even questioning him, which at least Ian did in the first hour.
I didn't hear the second hour. How was it, how was the callers response to it (I'm afraid to ask)

OMG, yes this really surprised me to, only heard a little of the second hour, fell asleep, will listen to it later today, am also interested in what the callers have to say, let you know.
Eagle I agree with you, the only thing left on Coast is Mr. Knapp and Art's Somewhere in Time, I used to love listening to Ian but as you mentioned there has been a major change in him and most of his guests leave much to be desired, rarely listen to him anymore.

I didn't bother to listen to Ian last night, I was going to cut him some slack on this interview he did last night, but have changed my mind. The fact that Ian got this guy on so quickly after the lawsuit was filed tells me alot about C2C and Ian. No integrity. They are complicate in the dumbing down of America and the fear mongering, that has gone on for the last 19 months.
OMG, yes the lawsuit quotes Wikipedia numerous times, it’s a joke.
C2C, George and Ian are propagandists. I expected more from Ian. C2C is nothing more than infotainment. Just another tabloid show.

didn't listen to the first hour last night - read the c2c web site for listings.
That wasn't always the case CK, Art used to have last minute guests all the time, especially when something major was happening.....I believe this was a last minute guest as the info wasn't put up until yesterday. BTW Berg was on for 2 hours.

I haven’t listened to the show in possibly a year by now, but I do try to keep up with the daily re-caps on the website. When I saw this thread, I remembered that, over the course of the past couple of months, I would find myself having a “WTF??” reaction when I would see the re-caps of Ian’s shows. So, I went back and did my own little research project and sure enough, I really do think I see a trend. At least a trend away from what one would consider a proper topic for C2C and toward a more celebrity gabfest type of fare. See if you agree.
Jun 7 – Crystal skulls
Jun 8 – “Jesus Christ” (the beginning of the omens)
Jun 14 – Chinese impact
Jun 15 – a re-play
Jun 21 – Population Control
Jun 28 – Aleister Crowly
Jun 29 – Bigfoot
Jul 5 – Brain structure
Jul 12 – RAND Corp and a Hollywood stuntman
Jul 13 – Extreme athletes
Jul 19 – Adventurer Robert Long
Jul 26 – Comedian Harry Shearer (whom I love, but come on)
Aug 2 – John Lennon and a comic book artist
Aug 9 – Number crunching (book promotion)
Aug 10 – Disaster response (book promotion)
Aug 16 – Organized crime (book promotion)
Aug 22 – Obama lawsuit
Aug 23 – Environmental health (book promotion)
Granted, I haven’t listened to any of these shows, but based on the re-caps, I don’t see why I would. Granted, I also never like Ian, but I echo some of the sentiments here. Something is clearly going on........

Did you ever stop to think, and then forget to start again?
I agree. It's obvious, I think , that C2C, especially the nights Ian and George Knapp host, is moving away from the paranormal topics toward more tabloid-ish subjects.
Ian, in particular, seems to be fixated on crime anf celebrity topics.
Seems odd that they would move away form the format that has made them successful, but they have the audience numbers, and it may be the non-paranormal stuff is more popular.
It's a shame.
