Question about smart phones

Post by SquidInk » 09-17-2015 10:39 AM

Can any of you with a smart phone tell me if it is possible to go to a web page using the phone, and "view source" in the browser (like you can on a pc)?

Does it require an app?

Thanks!

Answer:

Here's an app (for Android) : https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... viewsource

Another way is to be to type "view-source:" ahead of the url, for example: "view-source:http://google.com". Just like a regular browser.

I don't have a smart phone, so if anybody wants to try these methods and report back with results -- that would be kewl. When it comes to the app however, install at your own risk -- I know nothing about it.

On firefox mobile you can install the add-on "View source mobile" which seems to work fine.
