From Art

Post by Art Bell » 07-20-2007 08:02 PM

Hi all!

Yes, I have Retired. I will still do 15 shows per Year. Airyn and Asia are doing very well indeed and we are very happy

I hope my extended Family ( all of you)
understand that I simply felt it was time.
Life is very short and I want to spend
the time I have with my Family and my

I have not decided to remain here
in the high Desert or return to Manila,
only time will tell.

At the very least we will make a trip early
next Year to the Philippines so the Family can see Asia.

I will try to keep in touch here from time to time. Thank every last one of you for the support over all these Years.

You the man Art. Always.

Good luck, God-speed, and may the wind be always at your back.

I hope you pop in to do Ghost-to-Ghost at least.

Peace my brother.

Best in life to you Art. I wish you were still on the radio, but I understand. We all have to do, what we have to do. The world could use your magnificent voice and unparalleled interviewing skills in the critical times to come though... :( May all your journeys be happy ones.

Hi Art,

Wishing you, Airyn and little Asia all the best. Why do you have to pick a place to live, just bop back and forth :)

We do miss you on the radio, but how lucky you are to be able to be with your family. May you always be blessed with happiness and peace in your lives.

Thanks for popping in , and don't be a stranger :)

Family always comes first in my book... especially when the young ones are involved. Best wishes to you and your family. Don't be a stranger though :D

I'm please you will continue to host once in a while. However for us night owls... the wee mornings will never be the same. I yearn for the spontaneity of the old days.... unscreened open lines and the always stimulating conversations.

Thanks again for the ride! Hope to hear you on the airwaves soon....

Well, Art - you are the superglue that has held the Pirates of the Fantastic together. :)

The night riders met up here on board this ship - to keep the ride alive, as you know. You have given so much to all of us here - and to audiences the world over. A legacy of great radio. A fantastic accomplishment.

Great to hear you will keep in touch from time to time!

Wishing you all the best, in your semi-retirement - and looking forward to the times we'll 'turn our radios on' and you'll be there.

Wishing all the best life has to offer, for you and your family.

*Keep your ham cam up - so we can share some pics of you guys and your travels.

73 & 88s for Airyn, Asia and the kitties.
