Is The Coalition of Americans for Research Ethics Actually

Post by Snorrithor » 01-19-2002 09:04 PM

Do No Harm; The Coalition of Americans for Research Ethics.

So many pompously fake names on all sides today!

Now People for the Ehical Treatment of Animals may not have a problem with the absolute need to use Human Embryonic Stem Cells as the above group does.

Perhaps the Jainists support a complete and utter ban on any kind of animal research.

Don't you believe that harming any thinking or feeling creature is immoral if better alternatives, such as human embryonic stem
cells, are available?

So: Do No Harm; The Coalition of Americans for Research Ethics is actually Unethical isn't it?

Listen tonight!

PS: Hippocrates was not Christian, of course. His Hippocratic Oath actually starts by invoking the God Apollo!
And the narrowest hinge in my hand puts to scorn all machinery,
And the cow crunching with depress'd head surpasses any statue,
And a mouse is miracle enough to stagger sextillions of infidels.

-- Walt Whitman (in 'Song of Myself' from 'Leaves of Grass')
