Is Keith Rowland a complete moron? His unfunny April fools joke may have cost Premiere all kinds of ad revenue since we were led to believe Art would be gone all week and half is audience would probably not tune in. What a jokemeister that Keith is, Arts house is infested with black mold, what a knee slapper.

I actually thought the April Fools joke was funny, once I got it (it did scare me for a few seconds!). Lotsa inside jokes for those of us who have suffered through all those guest hosts (although I thought Hilly was good).

Keith has done something like this every April 1st, for as long as the web site has been in existence. Does anyone remember the year he put the notice up that the site had been taken down for examination by the FBI? It looked so real that he got in a little bit of hot water from the FBI itself.

Then, there was the year the site had been hacked by the Serbs!

Lighten up. This was a good one! The funny thing is, Art himself always seems to forget and ends up being taken in by it.

Yeah but it made some people believe Art was going to be off all week. How does that help the promotion of the show? Local stations and their advertisers will be puzzled when they see their listener base drop off this week.

The good April fools jokes leave a smile on your face not a perplexed look.

As if the silly program descriptions, which were obviously incredibly made-up, wasn't enough, there was a notice at the bottom of the page.

Yep. The webmaster had all the disclaimers in place. It was fun - and kind of exciting Image I enjoy a well played joke, and this was a good one.

What is wrong with people these days? No one seems to have a sense of humor any more.
Of course anything posted on or around April Fools Day is suspect. Don't people know that? Or don't they take the time to think, but just jump to conclusions. I remember Keith's jokes from previous years. Didn't see this one.

As for him being a moron, let me tell you about my emails from him someday. Then again, that's ancient history and best left alone.

When I went to the site I did not get the blue screen of death or the note about art being gone - what I got was a jumping net. The screen literally jumped. I chuckled since Keith has been doing things for so many years. But it was a bit unnerving until I remembered it was April 1st...

I missed this years excitment by camping with my boys, but from what I've heard and read here, Keith topped himself over previous years April Fools fun time. I did manage to listen in on the show though Image

So you too have been graced with missives from KR. Kina hard to get the last word in , right. All I have to say is that, dispite his vociferous pontificating and his assurance that no one but him could analyze the potential impact of the PremRad take-over on him, time had shown I was right!

I am an avid camper. Spent many a day on the mountain with my Son. Now I have the pleasure of camping with my Grandsons. The sight of the river far outweighs the sight of a monitor screen. Good on ya! (I do listen to Art from up there too. Some things you just cant get away from. Want to freak yourself out? Listen to Art and a guest yak about Bigfoot, while you are in the woods at night. You just slip a little deeper into the sleeping bag and hang on!!! )
