Laura, :) I know it must feel so GOOD to have finally cast your vote!

And Bill... may your beautiful blessing for America be more than just a beautiful dream. May it become the way we walk in the world.

I didn't know where else to put this!!

Driving home tonight, in my little Iowa town, I came across a group of maybe 14 people, holding "OBAMA!" signs. People honked and raised fists of Victory (me included :) ), but I noticed something else.

People were so...happy. In 2004, it was anger. Protest against Bush, protest against Kerry, protest against against this, protest against that, protest against anything.

But in 2008 these people were so...Happy!

I turned the corner to see that "Bob's Auto and Glass" had decorated his entire store-front with pics of Obama. And the title above it said: "CHANGE!"

My little Iowa town has a pop of maybe 45,000 people. But we're in this. To the end. We were, after all, the ones that started it!

See ya on November 4th. I feel very good about this........

My sole aim is to vote out of office all the
incumbents who helped create the no regulations on investment bankers.

Yes, you were. :) And for that, I thank you.

Nice post! Thanks for the encouraging images... I feel good, too, Live.

I voted yesterday two hours before the closing of early voting....my daughter voted earlier in the day....she has been sticking to me because we disagree on who should win....I called her after I voted and told her I had just cancelled out her vote!! ;)

I will be voting on 11/4. Living in Palm Beach County, I have my reasons for wanting to wait.

Please, please everyone remind anyone you come in contact with this weekend to vote !! I have been doing this for weeks now, you can do this without suggesting who to vote for, of course anyone that I come in contact with I take the opportunity to tell them about Obama. But if you don't feel comfortable discussing your candidate you can do this with just a reminder.

To everyone that has voted already, good for you. :)

We're voting on Tuesday, too. Our precinct is small and I don't expect there to be a long line there. It's nearby, too. I love the idea of early voting, but it would be farther to go, and more difficult for us to make it to the early voting site. Even if we do have to wait on Tuesday, that will be OK. We've got the time. It'll a part of the election day ritual for us. :) We're considering it a holiday. No working on the house or anything else resembling work. We'll just be paying close attention, and sending out good energy for *CHANGE*. :)

I will vote Tuesday. My state has very restrictive early voting rules (shown below). Also, I agree with this and dislike the concept of early voting and feel that it deprives voters and the campaigns of an opportunity to react to late events in the election cycle.

Kentucky laws regarding early voting are restrictive. Only people who sign statements swearing, under penalty of perjury, that they will be unable to go to the polls on Election Day are permitted to vote early. Allowable reasons include travel or medical disabilities.

I voted by mail a few days ago.

Linda, I hope your CAN vote on the 4th. I've been hearing terrible things about people in FL waiting in line for 4-6 hours and finally giving up without voting!!

Bell, I know she wouldn't give up. But I think they were shutting the doors on some?

Have any of you been running into long lines?

Have you seen a lot of younger folks voting?
