It would be easy to dismiss the latest Right Wing talking point as just another crazy lie. The talking point I'm referring to is the one that claims that the Ft. Hood shooting was a coordinated terrorist attack on the US military on US soil.
No one outside the nutjob consortium (the Murdoch Empire) is talking this claim seriously. But be wary, because I'll wager that this talking point is right now the contender for the argument against Obama in 2012.
Once Palin wins the GOP nomination (around 20% of the nation supports her, which is enough to push her over the top in the GOP primaries), then the cry will be that Obama missed a terrorist attack on the US.
Just putting up the windsock to see which way the winds are breaking.

And so it begins. Liebermann is leading the pack on this one. He is already launching investigations into the supposed "terrorist" act. This may be his step in his fight to defeat Dems in 2010/2012. He is determined to make the false equivalency between Bush missing 9/11 and the Obama Administration "missing" this lone nutjob who staged as mass murder.
