Karl Rove's father gay. But Ann Richards, of Texas, took he
Pirates and Readers:
How many of you knew that KARL ROVE's father is gay? Did you know that his father left his family when Karl was quite young, and went off to make his new life in Palm Springs, California.
Well, Karl apparently never held that against his father, and reportedly they always had a good relationship, and that speaks well for both of them.
Unfortunately, that respectful mind-set was not extended by Karl to others with whom he came into contact on the political fields of his life. It was Karl Rove who was most instrumental in designing the twisted bent-schemes to attack Gov. ANN RICHARDS of Texas, a sterling woman of high character.
It was as if he learned nothing, really, in the respectful relationship with his father and his family. Everyone else was fair game for him to hone his twisted mind, and aim accordingly.
Karl Rove accused ANN RICHARDS of hiring many gay men and lesbians for her staff ....and via those vicious and nasty assaults undermined her governorship. Apparently, he had no real respect developed for other gay people beyond the relationship with his gay father, whom he apparently dearly loved and respects/respected. He certainly knew how to attack the integrity of ANN RICHARDS! He knew what buttons to push in the social consciousness, and how to undermine ANN RICHARDS.
So, there's the man, KARL ROVE, and why people now are beginning to understand the man's mental-emotional EQ, and why he is so adept at twisting matters to suit his own egomaniacal designs for power.
Perhaps we see a lot of 'acting out', not against his father, per se, but against society as a whole, since he can adeptly manipulate sentiments in a very twisted bent fashion, as he knows best to do.
That has been KARL ROVE's mind-set for some time, to win at all costs, and to degrade others along the way. In that regard, it's his own character which appears seriously twisted and bent.
Any thoughts? Would you like KARL ROVE as your friend? Does there appear to be a basic flaw in how KARL ROVE seeks to manipulate political events, using any base means at his disposal, and to even contrive facts and data? Are ROVE-ian tactics a base or basic good influence on this administration? Does anyone in the White House even care?

Thought after hearing about Rove's flapping tongue re Pleme's demise he still stands under investigation of Patrick Fitzgerald's(oh-oh) investigation into the CIA Operative exposure leak problem. Think Rove was demoted too (officially unofficial;) )
All in all, isn't Rove up inside his keester with troubles anyway now.

Clatu, basically, yes, that's my take, too.
I thought that heads would roll, once Fizgerald's investigation was completed, which I also thought led to the doors of ROVE.

Niner - nah the fitzgerald investigation was a joke -- and poor one -- it lead to Armitage and worst of all Fitz knew it -- makes one think that he just wanted all the $$ he could get - keep his name in limelight and attempt - very poorly to cause harm to GOP. Turns out NOW that plame is suing Armitage... another sick stupidity when it was her own husband who was the originator of the entire thing... talk about a set-up.
Anyway-- there are many people from TX who didn't like Ann - many who did. No matter what view - may she RIP.

It isn't completed... no fat lady has sung on this episode yet.Ninerism wrote: once Fizgerald's investigation was completed,
Republican - re·pub·li·can (r-pbl-kn) - political party, which will control part of Congress 2011-2012, undermining the strength of the country - on purpose, in public, without apology or shame - simply for a campaign advantage in 2012.

Makes you wonder if Cheney and Rove would send their own family to the gas chambers if the religious right dictated that.
Spaceprophet, WOW! Harsh words, however, you are probably correct!
