The Chicken has released a new version of his Optomised Apps.

So far folks are reporting a 20% - 25% improvement in performance over Chicken's old Apps.

I just installed the new version on my oldest Dinosaur. This machine was getting awesome results with Chicken's old App., totally stomping similiar machines running SETI's Stock App. I'm eager to see what the new version can do

If all goes well I'll be updating my other crunchers

Anyone have any experiences to report with Chicken's Newest Opt. App.?

Just dropped it on my lappy (P-M) and my home PC (dual core AMD). Thus far it seems to be quite a bit faster than 1.3. I don't have solid numbers yet.

I have removed Simon's 2.0 SSE app from my intel 933 coppermine and reinstalled the 1.3 SSE build due to slowdowns in the Boinc Client. All seems well again with the 1.3 app.

I have also just added the 2.0 SSE to my AMD Sempron but will have to wait and see if it out performs the previously installed 1.3 build.

Also added the 2.0 SSE2 build to my AMD Turion and the increased performance over the older 1.3 build was immediately noticeable.

So far so good
