Ellensburg is indeed on the edge of ancient oceanic plate and there is a rare agate found in the area called Ellensburg Blue.

What I received in 2004:
"...My wife, works at the Ellensburg Public Library. When I gave her the description of Mel Waters (long white hair and long white goatee; looks like Willie Nelson; in company of a woman) she stated that he was in the library within the last couple weeks. She remembers the incident because the woman wanted to check out a book on her library card but had to pay a fine first. Mel teased her about the fine. [My wife] does not know the name of the woman who was his companion. I think this can serve as an independent conformation of his recent presence here in Ellensburg...."

I don't customarily listen to George but I had to last night with Red Elk as his guest. Since Red Elk normally just monologues we didn't have to endure too much GN.

Red Elk is the kindest man. When my daughter moved away to college in fall of 2000 she was seeing shadow people in her dorm room on several occasions. I had heard Red Elk on Art and wrote to him via email. I am able to "clear" most environments myself but I was having a helluva time sending these things on their way. Red Elk corresponded with me for 3 months and together we finally sent these phantoms on their way. He also helped me understand why thing were preoccupied with my daughter and asked nothing in return. I hold him in the highest regard.
