Biker, once the fish start running I'd be happy to send a few salmon fillets your way.

It was? Well then, here's a personal favorite:

"Quarter" Baked Salmon Fillet

1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Heat honey and brown sugar until combined, add water and soy sauce. Bring to boil, remove from heat. Add pepper flakes and let cool.

Marinate salmon in this mixture. Bake at 325* until salmon fillet is firm to the touch.

This is a great recipe for vegetarians, apricots may sound strange, but it is delicious. If you are not vegetarian you can also add chicken.

CARD SHARP CHOWDER
When you need to slow down someone's winning streak!

Served piping hot will push to the brink of bankruptcy. All winners of Poker, Canasta, bridge and Pinnochile....anyone giving you a fast shuffle!!

2 #1 cans of minced clams - drained with some juice
1/4 lb.onions, finely chopped
3 cups of water
1 1/2 cups of potatoes, peeled and diced
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
3 cups light cream

Fry salt pork in a large saucepan until browned. Pour off all but 2 tablespoons of fat and saute onions in it on low heat.

Add water, potatoes and clam juice, cover pot and simmer for 20 minutes.

Add cream, pepper and clams and simmer for 10 minutes longer.

SERVE HOT!! :D

This came from Evelyn Pagalini's website, doesn't sound very healthy to me. http://www.mysticalblend.com

And on Hato El Cedral, a capybara roams free, until dinner time rolls around I suppose.
