On the hamcams website, which Art used to promote, is a picture of Sharon, Airyn's sister, and her husband Carl, who are now apparently in Pahrump as of at least the 28th, when they had another pic up that looked like a Memorial Day bash at Art and Airyn's. It must be a comfort to Airyn to have her big sister there for her now. Has anyone heard any updates on The Big Day ??

I have been wondering if Art would be bringing Airyn's parents over too ...... he is a very generous person, and if it would make Airyn happy then I think that he would go to the ends of the Earth to make it happen. We shall all find out soon enough

I get up at 4am these days, for work, so I will be folding my tent soon, but did want to stop in and say HI to everyone. Today was the third of three days off for me, so I have gotten caught up on missed sleep and won't fold for another half-hour ..... I hope !!

Hey Shirley. Nice to be here with you for a while. At the moment, i'm listening to BBC News - sad story about that little girl that was abducted in Portugal - little Madeleine. The parents just met the Pope in Rome and their story is publicized everywhere. Hope and pray that Little Madeline (a 4 year old British child) is reunited with her parents who are in quite a state over this!!

Nice to be with you also Fish, I am praying for the safe return of little Madeleine. We had about 90 today and higher than usual humidity, cooling down this evening, just turned off the A/C.

It's very hot here too!! Now we are in the rainy season and we've been having some tremendous rainstorms. We can begin expecting some typhoons soon as well and I'm not looking forward to that at all. Glad to hear your weather is much better at the moment.

Do you live in Detroit - or in the suburbs?? Have only been to the airport in Detroit when changing flights on Northwest and traveling around the US. Don't know much about the city - do know the airport pretty well!!

I live in the North Western Suburbs, Oakland County. Born in Detorit and raised about 100 miles North of here, but lived in the Detroit area most of my life except from 88-2000 when I lived in Berkeley, Ca. Where are you from Fish?

Can't say I know Metro Airport that well, but have flown in and out of there numerous times over the years. Metro is near University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and about 40 miles from here.
