Republican - re·pub·li·can (r-pbl-kn) - political party, which will control part of Congress 2011-2012, undermining the strength of the country - on purpose, in public, without apology or shame - simply for a campaign advantage in 2012.
I would guess that it is time to invest in companies that make brown shirts. Covert first to Rupees.
Are these the people that John McCain identifies with? I noted with interest that he applauded when the Palin thing told McCain's rally people that "... we are all teabaggers". Who in the world is advising McCain?

I think I should have said "who in Hell is advising McCain.
Maybe they are trying to play it both ways.
If "moderate Republican" McCain loses to the far right winger the teabaggers get the credit.
If "teabagger McCain" beats the reich winger.... the teabaggers get the credit.
Which when translated means that Palin gets the credit either way.
I see McCain "palling around with terrori.... I mean tea partiers" . Seeing him doing this reminds me back during the election, before he lost his mind or soul or whatever happened to him this year. He did his usual townhall Q&A but the problem is, his usual crowd was replaced by Palinites. A bunch of whackos yelling stuff out to him, I remember a elderly woman so concerned because she heard his opponent is a muslim. You can tell McCain had the look of "who the f are these people and why are they here? At the time McCain still had decency with him and said "He's not that, he's a good decent family man". The talk radio hosts and crowd freaked out over that "How dare you McCain, don't talk down to the crazies, you have to push for that sort of stuff"
Look at McCain now, he's not just embracing them, he's trying to actually pander to them. If he was some rookie with not creds, I might understand the desperation and willing to sell out everything you accomplished. But somebody as well respected as he was, it really is a pathetic and sad sight.
I think it was NBC Today show that interviewed him the days after health care passed and the Dems were getting dangerous harassments and asked him about it. He had this weird smile (not sure if it was insanity or uncomfort) and he would reply mostly about how the bill shouldn't have been passed and the host actually had to press and keep asking "What about the calls and damages to Dems office" and McCain would have a passing "Well no violence is acceptable BUT.... it shouldn't have been passed like that" Who talks like that? Especially concerning people you meet everyday as co-workers. Is he that heartless or are these guys so in tune to their talking points (passing bill is bad) that they will repeat it whenever a mic is on, no matter what the circumstance of what is happening or what the interview is about.

More thrilling bulletins from La-La Land.
Hey, here's an interesting photo comparison of a pair of right-wing/left-wing demonstrations that just went on.

And this amusing comment:
Speaking of brown shirts, though, it's somewhat telling that the leftist protests are the ones attracting the "exterminate the Jews" contingent.
I'm sure that all must be faked or something, though.

Also of note is the "**** Capitalism" shirt you can buy for $15.In the ’60’s, the cool rallies and protests were on the Left! They were fun and creative and there were big puppets and street theater and Hare Krishnas and pot and girls without bras putting flowers into cop rifles. We had Arlo Guthrie, The Fugs, Country Joe and the Fish, and John and Yoko. We chanted and had a great time and felt like we ended racism and the War. Now, the people on the Left are scary and grim and humorless and say horrible intolerant things to people who disagree with them. They act an awful lot like the people we were protesting against in the 60’s, actually. They seem to have more in common with the Chicago cops who busted Yippies’ heads in the streets and arrested journalists to quash freedom of speech. They act like the people who cursed and spat at the little kids being escorted into the Little Rock schools by the National Guard. Count me in on the Searchlight rally!
