"The Killing"

Post by IronsGold » 04-04-2011 11:37 PM

Anybody else watching this on AMC? Biker and I did and really enjoyed it! Sort of like "Twin Peaks"

Joolz? You and Corvid would love it! Good TV while we await the return of "Breaking Bad"

Sunday night, on AMC. It's on at 10pm here in Idaho.

Give it a try, Saharaka, I think you'd like it!

We missed the premiere episode. Totally spaced it out. We just got AMC in HD last month (YAY!) and they're showing everything in sync with Eastern time, so it was 3 hours earlier than what I was thinking. Do you know if the premiere is available to watch online?

I wasn't able to find it, but AMC is pretty good about making premires available.

If they don't post it, try to find a re-cap, it's a perfect show for you guys!

I think I found it. We'll try to catch up before Sunday. Thanks for the review. I wasn't sure if we'd like this or not, but based on your rec I'll check it out!

Hey, on a totally unrelated note... guess what ?!? We got a new puppy! :D She's a totally adorable 9-week old sable and tri-color border collie. :) Soooo cute. And smart as a whip! Just 9 weeks old and she's already inventing play games for herself. She learned to play fetch today (including returning the ball), too, and made great strides in her 'potty training.' She's a very cool little girl. :)

How wonderul Joolz! I'm so happy for you both! I've always wanted a border collie, and I've heard how smart they are! She actually returns the ball?! Yikes!

What did you name her?

We named her Fionna (Nonie or Nona for short). She's blowing my mind with how smart she is! Today, she learned what "sit" means. I wouldn't say she's totally trained to sit already, but she obviously knows what we mean and will do it for us on command. Can hardly believe it, but it's true.

And yeah, she does bring the ball back. We are fortunate to have a really long clear run for her right in the house that's about 25 feet long, and there's not much to distract her from completing her task. Outside would probably be a different story. As soon as we fence around the pool (next week) she can run free in the back yard instead of being on a leash.

Aww! Fionna, what a pretty name!

Post some pics, please! Not here, but the correct deck if you can! I'd love to see her!

She's sable - like Lassie - but has a black mask on her sweet, little face with a little white blaze and a white spot on her otherwise black nose, four white boots, a white tip on her tail, and a dusting of white across her shoulders.

Thanks Joolz!

Love the line: "but has a black mask on her sweet, little face "...!

Good to know that there is another pup out there who will NOT be spoiled by her Mom! :D

Biker wanted me to say "Hi" to Corvid! Any chance you can get him to post again? If not, how about an update on the arm?
