Oooooh... and we're suffering because it's been down in the mid-to-low 40 degrees F every night... So sorry. I guess the parents are right. When you're uncomfortable, you can always open your ears and eyes and find someone worse off then yourself.

Yup, the next week is going to be ugly.

The bike has been on the roller trainer since about Oct. I can still ride as much as I want (and not near enough as I should be) and still stay toasty. Building has an old boiler and cast iron rads, and presently it's perking along at 40C:D

At 7:30 this morning the windchill was -29C and the rad was at 41C and I had to go out.

In Fahrenheit, that's a 158 degree difference. It wasn't pretty.......

We got snowed on but only maybe 25-30cm.

Windchill tonight is suppose to hit -38C and it sets the theme for the week.

The only thing this weather is good for is building up the ice in the canal for the World's longest skating rink.

We have been sitting here where I am with about 26F for days, but like Bobby Snow says, you guys kind of put it in perspective. I will remind ya all about this when it's 120F in the shade this summer.:)

When you thought it couldn't get any worse, the windchill hit -40C, which is the same as -40F.

Right now in Montreal (at 12:45PM) with wind chill it is -38C (-36.4F). The postman had icicles hanging off his face mask. Imagine having to work outside in that.

Where's Al Gore to explain this?

Probably in hiding. :)

Those explanations go a lot like:

"You're confusing weather with climate."

or

"The warming is causing the extremes in the weather."

Shuddup! It's science!

:rolleyes: ::p
