15k of the calories are in oil, most of which is left in the fryer, but yeah that looks NASTY!

Having gained my culinary skills from a father who started a deli & grocery with his father pre-depression, I know you can make things that taste incredibly good yet are not expensive or calorie laden. In fact, among some cooks, there are some that contest to see how inexpensive and how minimum calorie you can make something which is not offensive.

My problem is I like cooking with cheese, and also meats which are seasoned with wines and liquor.
