Nancy Pelosi calls Trump ‘President Bush’ for fifth time
Nancy, one of the prime leaders of our country, appears to need, more plastic surgery, more botox and more meds? At a mere , 77, she couldn't possibly look that good and be senile?.................
CONFUSION: Nancy Pelosi calls Trump ‘President Bush’ for fifth time
Never mind President Trump has been in office for six months — Nancy Pelosi still thinks George W. Bush is president.
During an interview with KTVU, Pelosi once again referred to Trump as “President Bush.”
“Everything we have seen so far with the president has been about tax cuts for the rich,” she told the news station.
“In fact, affecting California very directly, is the Affordable Care Act. President, uh, uh, Bush has come out against that as you know,” she said, not correcting herself.
During a weekly press conference in June, the House Minority Leader referred to President Trump as “President Bush” yet again.

The Left loved to hound '43 with his bumbling manner of speech and questionable decision-making. He was an easy target - despised by the Left - and many Independents as well, viewed as having very little practical experience and having bee elected solely due to connections.
The same can be said about Trump - his approval rating, among Democrats at least, has plummeted, although the GOP still has a popularity rating above 80% as of this morning anyway.
I think that due to the GOP House and Senate's inability to craft and legislation that eh can sign - and Trump's use of EOs mark him and his candidacy as a potential failure. The Left smells blood in 2018 and they're rallying the troops.
My personal fear is that, while yes, Trump has some issues - as an independent, I'm not very happy with how things are turning out, especially with foreign affairs, my fear is that we'll swing the other way and here comes Hillary "to save the day"...........

As far as "Foreign Affairs" goes, It is well to remember that the foreign countries are as divided as the people of this country. It is the Non-Globalists (Trump) Vs The Globalists. Obama did a great job bringing in, not only, the 12 pacific rim, countries, but Germany and France, England, and others, signed on also to a thinly disguised Global takeover called the TPP, etc. Of which , I might add, is NOT dead, but morphing. So the World is just as dangerous and deceiving as it ever was and will continue to be. With a little different twist, with our importing our own Muslim jailers and population control of us infidels.
We will not really understand, fully , just how close to a" One World Order" we where, for awhile. We where just one "Hillary" away from making ourselves, obsolete, useless humans. But the battle continues......

Pendulum goes enough the other way it may not matter who the Dems nominate. Like, if they can't lose, who cares who it is? Heck, nothing says swing like electing a self-professed non-binary Islamo-commie fundie.

Condition causing uncontrolled laughing, crying is common in Michigan nursing home residents, study finds
GRAND RAPIDS, MI – A little-known neurological condition that causes uncontrolled laughing or crying affects one in 10 nursing home residents surveyed in the Grand Rapids area, according to a new study.
Research by Dr. Kevin Foley, an associate professor of Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine, studied the incidence and treatment for pseudobulbar affect (PBA). In many cases, the condition is misdiagnosed as depression, or patients are treated with antipsychotic medications, Foley found.
The episodes of uncontrolled laughing or crying are not connected with underlying moods or emotions, he said.
“I’ve talked to people who have this condition and they say, ‘I don’t know why I’m crying’ or ‘I don’t know why I’m laughing,’” he said.
Foley presented his findings at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, in July.
The condition is a significant quality-of-life issue, he said, particularly for people already struggling with a neurological disorder.
“It gets frustrating for the individual and for those around them to not know why they are acting in that way and not know how to help,” Foley said.
The cause of the condition is unknown. Theories focus on the bulbar nuclei, which controls the muscle movement of laughing and crying. It is believed that there is a disruption of the control of those muscle movements, as well as a loss of inhibitory control in the brain.

Pelosi Calls For Resolution To Censure Trump For His ‘Repulsiveness’
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi issued a statement today declaring her support for the Congress to pass a resolution censuring President Donald Trump for “the repulsiveness” of his “words and actions.”
“Every day, the president gives us further evidence of why such a censure is necessary,” said Pelosi.
The censure resolution was introduced in the House of Representatives today by Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D.-N.Y.), Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D.-N.J.) and Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D.-Wash.).
The resolution immediately gathered 77 co-sponsors, all of whom are Democrats.
“The President’s remarks following the violence in Charlottesville over the weekend are a moral outrage,” Nadler, Coleman and Jayapal said in a statement. “Refusing to completely and unambiguously denounce white supremacist groups and individuals provides encouragement for their bigoted, nationalist ideology and policies. This is not the position of the United States government, and we must send a clear message to President Trump that his comments are not only wrong, but an affront to the moral convictions and ideals of this country.”
The resolution itself went so far as to declare that President Trump “has surrounded himself” with people who have a history of promoting “white nationalist, racist and anti-Semitic principles and policies.”
“Whereas President Donald Trump has surrounded himself with, and cultivated the influence of, senior advisors and spokespeople who have long histories of promoting white nationalist, racist and anti-Semitic principles and policies within the country,” says the resolution.
In her own statement, Pelosi said “the Republican Congress must declare whether it stands for our sacred American values or with the President who embraces white nationalism.”

Yeah Doka, nothing's going to happen with this Congress in place........ they're digging-in their heels and gearing up for roadblock. Sad. People are fed-up with this system of government and the nearly 20 year history of doing nothing in a bipartisan manner except criticize each other. Sad......

Pelosi Wants Permit Revoked For ‘White Supremacist’ Patriot Prayer Event
Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is calling for the National Park Service to revoke the permit for a Patriot Prayer event because she says it’s a “white supremacist rally” – even though the organizer and all but one speaker are not white.
“The National Park Service’s decision to permit a white supremacist rally at Crissy Field raises grave and ongoing concerns about public safety,” House Minority Leader Pelosi declared in a statement calling for cancellation of the conservative event scheduled for Aug. 26 in San Francisco, California.
In a further effort to villainize the event, Pelosi implied that the Trump Administration may have been behind the decision to grant the permit to the conservative rally:

What's really a "breath-sucker" is that these people believe their own lies and accusations, as they have been doing it for so long. They are just sooo horribly obvious with their hate filled- lying , rhetoric!
I prefer the positive , life giving type of rhetoric, but being that humans tend to be of a negative sort, the "Dark Side" is a really big pull.
Rhetoric
Art of discourse
Rhetoric is the art of discourse, wherein a writer or speaker strives to inform, persuade or motivate particular audiences in specific situations. As a subject of formal study and a productive civic practice, rhetoric has played a central role in the European tradition. Its best known definition comes from Aristotle, who considers it a counterpart of both logic and politics, and calls it "the faculty of observing in any given case the available means of persuasion." Rhetoric typically provides heuristics for understanding, discovering, and developing arguments for particular situations, such as Aristotle's three persuasive audience appeals, logos, pathos, and ethos. Top Dem: Time For Nancy To Go!
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-San Francisco, is again being called on to step down, but this time the request came from a fellow female Californian in a top congressional leadership position.
Rep. Linda Sánchez, D-Whittier (Los Angeles County), the fifth-most-senior House Democrat, told C-SPAN Thursday: “I do think it’s time to pass a torch to a new generation of leaders, and I want to be a part of that transition. I think we have too many great members here that don’t always get the opportunities that they should.”
Sánchez, 49, was elected last year to be vice chairwoman of the House Democratic Caucus, edging out Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Oakland, by two votes. She is the first woman of color to serve in a senior position.
While she singled out Pelosi, Sánchez’s comments were directed at the party’s entire House leadership team, which has been together for a decade. Other members are Minority Whip Steny Hoyer, D-Md., and Assistant Minority Leader James Clyburn, D-S.C. Pelosi, 77, has been in Congress for 30 years and in the House Democratic leadership for 14 years, including as the first female speaker of the House (2007-11).
The remarks reflect a growing frustration among Democrats, who have been hemorrhaging seats at all levels of government nearly everywhere except California for nearly a decade, that the party doesn’t have a coherent, appealing message. Pelosi is stuck in the middle, seen as too progressive by heartland Democrats in swing districts and too much of a corporatist by progressive Democrats, where much of the party’s current energy lies.
Thus the calls for new leadership.
“They are all of the same generation, and again, their contributions to the Congress and the caucus are substantial,” Sánchez said. “But I think there comes a time when you need to pass that torch. And I think it’s time.”
Pelosi’s deputy chief of staff, Drew Hammill, responded Thursday that she “enjoys wide support in the caucus and has always said she is not in Congress on a shift but on a mission. Leader Pelosi is focused on winning back the House, and anything else is a distraction from our path to the majority.”
