Wrong Doka..............
The question of the meaning of the song was effectively settled when May wrote on his website that "Hammer to Fall is really about life and death, and being aware of death as being part of life", and that "the Hammer coming down is only a symbol of the Grim Reaper doing his job!"

In other words, being totally aware, pragmatic, honest..........

We can differ on interpretation, I like the song, but, in my experience, I find a lot of people who have not a clue how to Live a good life, before the "Hammer" falls. They are too busy with the envy, greed thing. Then they go bitter and resentful. They never look out ,up or around them. With out ever looking at what they have missed by their own choices and grievances and get on with their lives. In other words, being totally aware, pragmatic, honest..........
You are as "Honest as you are Aware" gives us all a lot of room to grow.
I suppose I'm as pragmatic as can be. Results and consequences are very important to me. Maybe a part of growing up. Snap judgements are for the young.
At any rate, there is so much Living to do Before the "Hammer" strikes!
(Talk about you both being on the same "Wave Length", impressive.)

Trump has a 'tremendously' successful talent of projecting his crap onto others. No wonder you idolize him.

There you go man, keep as cool as you can. Face piles and piles of trials with smiles. It riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave. And keep on thinking free. (Moody Blues)

He takes no pay for this kind of abuse
So you want to Impeach on "Style Points"? I don't remember this massive number of people so full of hate , they don't know if anything is wrong or not, just doesn't seem to matter. When packs of wild dogs smell blood, it dosn't matter if they are hungery or not, they will join the carnage. Trump may not have been my first choice, but I tell you what he has earned my Respect. I'm sure I would have fed you and the rest, to those dogs by now. Except there is no reason for me to ever think that way.........you all voluteered.!

This is the New Law of the land. Remember this when they take your money, property and withhold your benefits, and tax you into the poverty , As Socialism by it's nature requires. The democrats deserve to get their "Slaves" back from Lincoln and the Republicans and fill their pockets with your money. This is the "Justice " you all have been clamering for.
Democrat Witness: Evidence of a Crime Not Needed To Impeach Trump
December 3, 2019 By Tristan Justice
One of the Democrats’ witnesses slated to testify before the House on Wednesday as part of the latest partisan impeachment proceedings argued more than two years ago that President Donald Trump could be impeached even without evidence of a crime.
Harvard Law School Professor Noah Feldman, who claims to specialize in constitutional studies, told The New Yorker in an article published in May 2017 that Congress could vote to impeach the president without evidence justifying a “high crime and misdemeanor” constitutionally required for presidential impeachment and removal.

The Dems may have wanted him out from day one but it's his own fault. The man is a mouthy, vile, PIG!!
Shame on you for respecting someone like him.

Re: The Pre-Impeachment of Donald Trump Never Stopped
I know what yo mean Doka, but, let's be honest and back up a bit and recall the GOP reaction to Obama's first term as president and how the GOP vowed to get him out.
I'm not an Obama fan, but the GOP were all over him before he even started on the job.
Let's go back further to Clinton and the GOP's feigned horror over a stained dress, although many who condemned him (think Pappy Bush) did pretty much the same thing..... No a fan of the Clinton's either bug the GOP has pretty much sown a lot of the seeds for discontent and division.
If the Democrats play by the GOPs playbook, then the Right has no one to blame but themselves...... I would prefer that everyone play well in the sandbox, but these millionaires (on each side) seem incapable of even common decency.
Just my to cents worth. I'm not a fan of either political party and their tactics over the last few decades. Which is why I'm a registered Independent

Re: The Pre-Impeachment of Donald Trump Never Stopped
All good points Kbot but whatever has happened in the past is pretty much irrelevant when it comes to this bloody maniac. His behavior is not comparable to anything that has ever happened before. Not even close!
Trump may not be removed from office, but sustaining any kind of world respect after being impeached is not going to be easy for this preening peacock. Actually, the ridicule has already started judging by a conversation that took place between some of the other leaders yesterday and was recorded. These leaders knew damn well they could be heard and they normally would never take a chance dissing another leader in a crowded room with cameras everywhere. They didn't give a crap. French President Macron certainly let poor Trumpy know what he thought of him in front of the world at their joint presser.
Nobody cares how Trump suffers being made a fool of but the question is...how long can the American people suffer it?

Re: The Pre-Impeachment of Donald Trump Never Stopped
Reading the House report last night RA, the argument is being framed against an historical background of past presidential behavior, and projecting that (and Trump's) against ANY future American president. The GOP needs to beware because they may be inadvertently setting up precedents which would prohibit any prosecution of any future president.
Seriously - is blind loyalty worth the future of the country? The GOP really needs to examine this.......
Now we have more news coming out about Nunes and his involvement. As one person told him "You'd better lawyer-up" as it looks bad for Nunes.
As it is, we have world leaders at the NATO summit laughing at Trump over his behavior and obvious lack of understanding of military alliances (hint: it's NOT all about who pays for what......)
As, as one reported noted, all this chaos and Putin hasn't to do a thing - it's all been Trump's mishandling of circumstances......

Yes , how cute, the main talks at the NATO gathering where about MONEY, NATO, (of which my be kinda nice to have protecting your country) and UN are short on cash, the United States is paid up, not going to pay others bills for them anymore, I know it's horrible, other Nations left to take care of their own business.

France Paralyzed By Largest General Strike In Decades
Thu, 12/05/2019 - 10:26
In what appears to be the biggest disruption to French society since the gilets jaunes demonstrators nearly torched Paris last year, public workers across the country stayed home on Thursday, immobilizing public transit across the country as the first general strike in more than 20 years began.
The walkout was called by unions angry at President Emmanuel Macron's pension reforms (not unlike how a planned - then scrapped - gas tax hike sparked the giles jaunes).
On the fist day of the strike, parts of Paris resembled a ghost town during what are typically busy morning-commute hours. Roads were empty, and train stations were deserted, according to the Times of London.

Re: The Pre-Impeachment of Donald Trump Never Stopped
I don't think the GOP would care less about precedent if a future Dem president bribed another nation to investigate a campaign rival. If it happened, and it certainly could, the GOP would just blather on that they have changed their view, so will not be tolerating this behavior now. No shame. Seriously though, you are absolutely right if such an act is tolerated, this would be the end of democracy as you currently know it.kbot wrote: ↑12-04-2019 08:37 PM Reading the House report last night RA, the argument is being framed against an historical background of past presidential behavior, and projecting that (and Trump's) against ANY future American president. Nunes chatting it up on the phone with Parnas and Rudy in the middle of this extortion attempt and then co-presiding at the hearings. WOW! The GOP are not only blatantly corrupt, they're stupid too.
Kellyanne stated that the world leaders who laughed behind Trump's back are just jealous.
Trudeau's face as he lamely admitted his part in it signified to me that he could hardly contain his "not giving a $hit attitude". It was written all over his deadpan face. Only problem with this reckless act is that there is some concern that Canada may face retribution from the thin skinned child man. I would imagine that by now, there is a fair amount of rage just simmering under man child's surface over events of late. And this guy has the nuclear codes. Another WOW!

Biden campaign uses video of Trudeau laughing at Trump in election ad
Social Sharing
A video of Justin Trudeau gossiping with other world leaders about Donald Trump is featured in an advertisement for the U.S. president's leading political rival.
"The world is laughing at President Trump," says the ad from former vice-president Joe Biden's campaign for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination. "They see him for what he really is: dangerously incompetent and incapable of world leadership."

The picture is priceless! Just hope that if Joe wins he will undo any damage Trump may do to Canada.
