First came the Dutch farmers. And after unprecedented success in combatting the Green Establishment in their country, farmers throughout Europe have followed suit. Tractors are or have been on the march in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Belgium and beyond.

Farmers are rightly aiming their ire at the net-zero push generally, and the food transformation specifically. Though it hasn't made such a dent in US papers, this is all a big deal, not least because European elections are coming up, and there is a real concern among the governing classes that this could turn European politics on its ear.

On Monday, hundreds of tractors blocked off sections of Prague and disrupted traffic outside the country’s Agriculture Ministry as demonstrators demanded that the EU’s Green Deal, which calls for regulations on the use of certain chemicals and greenhouse gas emissions, be rejected.

The farmers have argued that the Brussels' proposals place a heavy burden on their businesses, making products more expensive and less competitive, especially when compared to non-EU imports, such as those coming from Ukraine.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), however, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala claimed protests against EU agriculture policies, environmental requirements and high energy prices have “little to do with the fight for better conditions for farmers.”

“The demonstration is organized by people who, for example, do not hide their support for the Kremlin and pursue goals other than the interests of farmers,” Fiala wrote, adding that the Czech government would only deal with those who “really represent farmers and talk together about what our agriculture needs.”

He also noted that Monday’s protests in the Czech capital were not organized by the country’s largest farmers organizations, such as the Agrarian Chamber, the Agricultural Union, and the Association of Private Agriculture.

The three groups announced plans to hold a separate demonstration against the EU’s green policies on Thursday in a joint action with farmers’ associations from other EU member states. The Agrarian Chamber stated farmers will lead their tractors and other machinery in convoys to the Czech border, but have stressed the demonstration would be symbolic and will not interfere with the operation of the border.

On the other side of the thoughts about the "seeds of life" coming from our corn and soybean **fields being weed free. Glyphosate was found in tiny traces in 95% of Americans a few years ago. T or F?

GMO's are in constant use anyway so we can start our own gardens. One drawback finds our Green dems complaint department saying a garden contributes to climate change in a news blip 2-3 weeks ago! ,

What side would Captain Obvious take?

**25% of America's wheat fields are reported being sprayed in the late stage being green and yellow by airplane FLIR/night vision equipped crop🛩dusters. I've seen that done at night in late May into early June.

A whopping 25%? If true that's still tough to believe due to all of that extra expense just to shock the seed head into making a few more grains to increase the yield? T or F?
