Being a mere layman with no PhD in astrophysics, a theory on Earth shoving by 100s of near-simultanious 100 megaton nuke detonations isn't exactly something I can comment on authoritatively yet with that caveat, I'd say it's in the realm of possibilty

What I can say with absolute confidence is to actually put the theory to a test would not at all be in the interests of science, or expanding the base of human knowledge
