In my teens, we had a farm dog. An all American mutt. In the dead of winter she had 13 puppies! Along with dry food my mom fed the 12 survivors taters & bacon grease. You never saw so many fun loving roly-poly puppies. The shelter told us they were all snatched up in no time. No more pups for their mama tho. Better spayed late than never!
