Britain is stunned !!!!

Post by Alien_UK » 11-03-2004 06:06 AM

Britain woke up this morning totally dismayed that you could revote for Bush.
I for one am stunned and disappointed. In fact I feel a little depressed by the results so far. All that is going around my mind this morning is why oh why?

We British actually thought that the huge turn out were to vote for Mr. Kerry's campaign.
I think this will damage relations between Europe and America. I can’t begin to tell you how disappointed we are. But then again it’s your country and your vote and that I personally have respect for. But the problem as I see it is, it actually affects the rest of the world, to me that means another 4 years of chaos and destruction. For me personally it’s a dark day, but in saying that life goes on, businesses usual.

Alien, we've been asking eachother that all evening!! I am embarrassed and ashamed of 1/2 of my fellow Americans today. Incredibly horrible and downright stupid, aren't we??

And while there is some evidence of fraud in Ohio, which is being contested now, how so many people could vote for Bush putting him anywhere NEAR Kerry supporter is WAY beyond me.

This is so much worse than 2000, since we didn't know for sure what a bumbling idiot we were getting ... but this time, NO EXCUSE, we knew how he'd screwed us and 1/2 of us did voted for him anyway. Guess we aren't very intelligent.

Lord help us! ... Sooooooooooooo how are the mortgage rates in Britain these days?

How is G. Britain reporting this? As a Bush win, or still being contested? Kerry has not conceded, but I heard that Bush will attempt (?) to accept sometime this morning.

Many of us have been just sick, all night ... the race/fight is still on!!

I'm dissapointed too in 58+ million of my fellow Americans. I hope they're happy with what they've done to us the next 4 years when things come to pass.

Disappointed. Disgusted. And wondering:
Why did the 18 to 30 crowd SCREW us?

a measly 17% showed at the polls. That was the same exact showing as last election 2000!!!

This was supposed to be THE election for that age range.
What happened?????????

I'm upset too.

I think it has something to do with the fact that we were voting against Bush instead of FOR Kerry. We were making do with what the PTB gave us to work with...

Things will actually be far worse the next four years. The Republicans picked up 5 Senate Seats. Bush will have a clear mandate to run amok, with almost nothing to stop him in the Senate. The Dems still retain enough seats to filibuster, but their position is much weaker than before.

Also, Bush would have been far more inclined to work with the other side, since he did not win the popular vote in 2000. This time, he won with a strong 3 million vote margin. That gives him the mandate he did not have before.

We might be suspicious about votes manipulated by computers, but we'll never be able to prove a thing.

I'm afraid it's really a matter of Conservative "Christians," people manipulated by religion. I used to think the majority of Americans shunned legislated morality, but the times are changing in that regard. If trends continue, then 20 years from now our culture will be similar to that of Iran.

Everything was set for a Kerry victory. Something is not right here.

Diebold CEO said he would make sure Bush won.

The exit polls said Kerry in a Landslide.
The Redskins lost
Sylvia Brown said Kerry would win
Even my brother thought Kerry would win
The popular vote could have been manipulated
What states had the electronic machines

I think he is not popular as the votes state. I think our gut feeling is correct but the question as Con stated is can we prove it.

He was too confident that he would win with that smirk on his face.

If religion put him over then our Country is being run by religion not the people.

As Conspiracy said, we wont be able to prove a thing regarding election fraud.
And I also agree, we will become like an Iran.
Based on Bush's allegiance to Saudi Arabia, i'm thinking we'll be more like Saudi Arabia.

Religious fanatics have swarmed to the polls this year - they want their Biblical fantasies to come true. Bush sure made them think he was sent by God.

But, they will be met with fierce objection. Wonder whats next.
