The poor darlin's................

Republican Rioters Are Being Put On No-Fly Lists & Throwing Airport Tantrums

In the wake of the Jan. 6 domestic terrorist attack, in which Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to subvert a free and fair election, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a warning to the insurgents. “Federal law prohibits you from physically assaulting or threatening to physically assault the crew, and anyone else,” the FAA tweeted over the weekend. “You could be subject to fines of up to $35K and imprisonment for such conduct.” And in a statement issued by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, President Sara Nelson called for those who participated in the attempted coup to be banned from flying, saying they posed a threat “to the safety and security of every single person onboard.”

Now, as violent MAGA rioters are attempting to travel back home, they’re learning that they are subject to existing airline zero-tolerance policies that mandate mask wearing and bar harassment and unruly behavior against airline crew members and passengers alike. Needless to say, they are not happy.

One Twitter user, @RayRedacted, shared a now-viral video of a white man crying in an airport, yelling, “This is what they do to us. They kicked me off a flight, they call me a f*cking terrorist, and they want to rule my life.” The tweet was captioned, “People who broke into the Capitol Wednesday are now learning they are on No-Fly lists pending the full investigation. They are not happy about this.”

Looks like the Trump supporters aren't interested.

But hey, look, Trump is losing support quickly. Liz Cheney, Moscow Mitch, Mitt Romney....... they're lining-up.

Now, the government is looking to charge various members of the GOP with sedition. They're rounding up Trump's domestic terrorist base and building cases (send em all it GITMO IMHO............ including Trump and his kids)

They're looking specifically at THREE GOP members of Congress who actively collaborated with these domestic
terrorists

This is just too precious RA

You bet it's precious Kbot. I'm starting to think Trump just may end up in the clink after all.

How any American can call themselves a Trump supporter after the last 5 years where babies were ripped away from the their mothers and locked in cages and the rest of the atrocities carried out by this evil man is unfathomable. How totally weak minded to allow themselves to come under his spell. "If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything."

This has nothing to do with right or left or politics in general. It's about about character.

Yes it is RA.

Look at GOP Senator Jim Jordan, who has been one of Trump's most vocal enablers and backers. He's repeatedly covered for Trump and has repeatedly attempted to divert attention away from his failed record time and time again.

During the hearings the other day, once again, despite the evidence to the contrary that Trump incited a riot, resulting in multiple deaths, Jordan STILL won't call him out.

Maybe he thinks that by being such a fierce backer of Trump, that, somehow, Trump will help him with his pending lawsuit.......

Rep. Jim Jordan Is Named in New OSU Sexual Abuse Lawsuit

A new class action lawsuit on behalf of former athletes has named the Ohio congressman for failing to prevent sexual abuse perpetrated by a university doctor

In the two weeks since former Ohio State wrestlers began to make public allegations about being repeatedly molested and assaulted by team doctor Richard Strauss, Congressman Jim Jordan – who spent eight years as an assistant wrestling coach at the school – has repeatedly claimed any suggestion that he was previously aware of the abuse is “fake news.” As I wrote here on Monday, the former wrestlers, who say Jordan knew they were being abused and took no action to stop it, have been slandered repeatedly by the congressman and his reflexive right-wing defenders – including accusations that the former wrestlers are part of either a “deep state” conspiracy or paid for by the Democratic Party to take down the powerful founder of the House Freedom Caucus. President Trump and several members of Congress, including House Speaker Paul Ryan, have leapt to Jordan’s defense, claiming he’s just not the kind of guy who would sit idly by while his wrestlers were preyed upon.

On Tuesday, Jordan’s public-relations crisis became a legal nightmare. Attorneys filed a massive class-action lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Ohio against Ohio State University on behalf of an as-yet-unnamed former OSU wrestler. The law firm Sauder Schelkopf is seeking to represent all the students and athletes “treated” by Strauss in his two decades at the school, from the late ‘70s to the late ‘90s – a number they estimate will amount to “at least 1,500.”

Jordan, the jut-jawed Republican and anti-gay crusader in the House, is singled out in the suit: He’s one of only three former school officials named, including Strauss, though the action is aimed at all the coaches, administrators and others in positions of responsibility at OSU who, it claims, stood by while students and student-athletes were repeatedly “sexually abused, harassed, and molested,” and “forced” to seek treatment from a well-known predator even after they complained. (Strauss was the sole team doctor for the wrestlers; the men say they either had to choose to let injuries go untreated, as the lawsuit says some did, or subject themselves to yet another assault.)

GOP dam breaks as impeachment vote takes on greater meanings: The Note
The House vote Wednesday will be bipartisan and resounding.

President Donald Trump is about to become the first president to be impeached twice. The second one, while unlikely to drive him from office early, will almost certainly be the one that matters the most.

The House vote Wednesday will be bipartisan and resounding. It will include at least one member of Republican leadership and the math may be even worse for the president in the Senate.

It will constitute a stinging judgment on Trump and his political movement. But it is unlikely to constitute the final words on either topic -- and the power of words mark one reason that the impeachment vote has grown in importance as it has approached.

Members of Congress will be voting in the same chambers that were attacked by a violent mob just a week ago. Many of them were almost harmed, and threats to their safety over the next week are growing even while Trump has deflected from taking responsibility.

There will be no witnesses in this trial, in part because those voting on it are themselves all witnesses. They saw what happened last week -- and see what could still happen over the next week and well beyond, whether or not they act to rebuke the president.

More "very fine people"..........

DC protester arrested with 11 Molotov cocktails, several guns had list of 'good guys,' 'bad guys': DOJ
Lonnie Coffman was indicted on 17 charges on Tuesday.

Federal prosecutors submitted chilling new evidence in their case against Capitol siege suspect Lonnie Coffman on Tuesday, including a list the protester had in his possession naming "good guys" and "bad guys," including the names of a federal judge and a House lawmaker.

Among the evidence submitted to the court are also pictures of the materials seized from Coffman's truck, which include multiple firearms, a crossbow, stun gun and a cooler with 11 homemade Molotov cocktails. Evidence photos submitted by the Department of Justice show an AR-15-style rifle, shotgun and handgun were taken from the vehicle.

Coffman, who is from Alabama, was arrested Jan. 6 after he returned to his truck in the wake of the protests and was approached by police officers. After being stopped by police in his car, Coffman had "asked officers whether they had located the bombs," according to an affidavit filed by a Capitol police officer.

Coffman was charged in a 17-count grand jury indictment Tuesday and is facing what appear to be the most serious offenses brought by the DOJ against the Capitol suspects thus far. Among the charges facing Coffman are six counts of possession of an unregistered firearm, carrying a pistol without a license, carrying a rifle or shotgun and possession of a large capacity feeding device.

The Right, especially Faux News, continues to insist this is a violation of free speech. No it isn't. It's violation of terms of service.

Freaking idiots.......

Social media companies restricting Trump accounts cite risk for violence
From Twitter to Twitch, these companies have banned or restricted the president.

After President Donald Trump's online and rally rhetoric was linked to violence as a mob of his supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol building last week, many social media giants took the unprecedented step of restricting or banning the president's accounts.

Some experts lamented that these steps have come too late. The recent actions from big tech giants also stoked questions about free speech and the political power concentrated in Silicon Valley.

Five people died in the riot at the Capitol last Wednesday, including one police officer, just hours after Trump held a rally and urged his supporters to march to the Capitol as a joint session of Congress was taking place. As the world watched the violence unfold, Trump shared a video on his social media accounts telling the protesters "we love you" and "you’re very special" as he told them to go home.

Here is a roundup of social media companies that have since taken action to ban or restrict the president on their platforms.

MORE: Twitter permanently suspends Donald Trump's account; president teases new platform
Twitter
Twitter, by far Trump's most-used outlet to reach supporters, permanently suspended the president's account last Friday. He had some 80 million followers prior to his suspension.

"After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them -- specifically how they are being received and interpreted on and off Twitter -- we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence," the company wrote in a statement.

The company also blocked Trump from posting a statement on the @POTUS account, saying users who are banned cannot post from other accounts. The @POTUS account, rarely used by Trump himself over the past four years, will be transferred over to the next administration following President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration.

"Over the last several years, we have allowed President Trump to use our platform consistent with our own rules, at times removing content or labeling his posts when they violate our policies. We did this because we believe that the public has a right to the broadest possible access to political speech, even controversial speech. But the current context is now fundamentally different, involving use of our platform to incite violent insurrection against a democratically elected government," Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a post.

MORE: Facebook 'indefinitely' blocks Trump's account after violence at Capitol
"We believe the risks of allowing the President to continue to use our service during this period are simply too great," he added. "Therefore, we are extending the block we have placed on his Facebook and Instagram accounts indefinitely and for at least the next two weeks until the peaceful transition of power is complete."

Apple, Google and Amazon Web Service crackdown on Parler
The self-proclaimed "free speech" platform Parler became a runaway hit with Trump supporters in recent months. In the wake of Twitter and Facebook's actions late last week, many conservative users turned to Parler to connect.

The app, however, was soon removed from the Android app store by Google and from Apple's app store after last week's incidents.

"In order to protect user safety on Google Play, our longstanding policies require that apps displaying user-generated content have moderation policies and enforcement that removes egregious content like posts that incite violence. All developers agree to these terms and we have reminded Parler of this clear policy in recent months. We’re aware of continued posting in the Parler app that seeks to incite ongoing violence in the U.S.," a Google spokesperson told ABC News in a statement. "We recognize that there can be reasonable debate about content policies and that it can be difficult for apps to immediately remove all violative content, but for us to distribute an app through Google Play, we do require that apps implement robust moderation for egregious content. In light of this ongoing and urgent public safety threat, we are suspending the app’s listings from the Play Store until it addresses these issues."

Apple similarly told ABC News in a statement: "We have always supported diverse points of view being represented on the App Store, but there is no place on our platform for threats of violence and illegal activity. Parler has not taken adequate measures to address the proliferation of these threats to people’s safety. We have suspended Parler from the App Store until they resolve these issues."

Amazon Web Services, which hosts Parler, also suspended web hosting service to the platform -- forcing it offline. An AWS spokesperson confirmed the authenticity of a letter to Parler from the company that was obtained by Buzzfeed News, but otherwise declined to comment.

Parler CEO John Matze responded to the news in a statement, saying, "I founded Parler to be a place of open dialogue and discussion where we could work to move past the anger and hostility that seems to be consuming our otherwise civil society. Parler strives to bring people together and find common ground, peace and healing. We do not condone or accept violence on our platform and we never will. "

Matze added that the platform has Community Guidelines that expressly forbids incitement or threats of violence and has a system "which engages our community to quickly and transparently enforce these rules and remove prohibited content."

"Evaluated objectively, our system worked as well or better than the methods used by our competitors, while adhering to our principles. And we are working to improve it every day. We invite those with concerns to join our community and see our system in action. And we welcome your feedback," Matze said. "It is important to all of us at Parler that we get it right. We care deeply and are committed to being part of the long-term solution to save civil discourse."

Reddit
Reddit has taken the step of banning the subreddit page r/donaldtrump in the wake of last week's events.

"Reddit's site-wide policies prohibit content that promotes hate, or encourages, glorifies, incites, or calls for violence against groups of people or individuals," the company told ABC News in a statement. "In accordance with this, we have been proactively reaching out to moderators to remind them of our policies and to offer support or resources as needed. We have also taken action to ban the community r/donaldtrump given repeated policy violations in recent days regarding the violence at the U.S. Capitol."

The company had previously banned a similar subreddit, r/the_donald.

While these are not official accounts of Trump, they gained immense popularity among his followers.

Shopify
The e-commerce platform Shopify said last Thursday it has terminated the official stores affiliated with Trump.

"Shopify does not tolerate actions that incite violence," a company spokesperson told ABC News in a statement. "Based on recent events, we have determined that the actions by President Donald J. Trump violate our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits promotion or support of organizations, platforms or people that threaten or condone violence to further a cause."

"As a result, we have terminated stores affiliated with President Trump," the spokesperson added.

The company confirmed that TrumpStore.com and shop.donaldjtrump.com were removed. The latter is the official shop of the Trump Campaign, while TrumpStore.com is run by the Trump Organization.

MORE: Trump-Biden transition live updates: House Democrats introduce article of impeachment
Snapchat
Snapchat indefinitely locked the president's account on its platform, the company confirmed to ABC News.

A company spokesperson cited deep concerns over the president's rhetoric as the reason and noted that it had already stopped promoting the account on its Discover pages last June.

Twitch
Gaming platform Twitch also disabled the president's channel last week, the company confirmed to ABC News.

"In light of yesterday’s shocking attack on the Capitol, we have disabled President Trump’s Twitch channel," Twitch said in a statement. "Given the current extraordinary circumstances and the President's incendiary rhetoric, we believe this is a necessary step to protect our community and prevent Twitch from being used to incite further violence."

Pentagon has said that they will find these domestic terrorists, reactivate them, charge them with sedition, find them guilt, strip them of all military honors (and any pensions they may have), and sentence them under the law.

Video shows retired Navy SEAL boasting of 'breaching the Capitol'
The Navy veteran said he wanted lawmakers to be left "shaking in their shoes."

A retired U.S. Navy SEAL is facing questions from the FBI after boasting in a Facebook video about "breaching the Capitol" last Wednesday after traveling to Washington to join a rally for President Donald Trump, an assault he said in the video that he hoped would ignite a "positive revolution."

The video shows Adam Newbold, 45, from Lisbon, Ohio, who the Navy confirmed is a retired reserve SEAL special warfare operator, in a car on his return home from Washington, telling his Facebook followers that he was "proud" of the assault on the U.S. Capitol building earlier that day.

Newbold, in the video, seeks to defend the actions of those who broke into the Capitol by falsely insisting that the only destruction occurred as the rioters tried to enter the building, and also incorrectly says that nothing was vandalized.

"There was destruction, breaching the Capitol, our building, our house. And, um, to get in you had to destroy doors and windows to get in," Newbold says in the video. The video has been deleted from Facebook, but a copy of it was obtained by ABC News.

Clad in the attire of his Ohio-based firearms training business, ATG Worldwide, also known as Advanced Training Group Worldwide, the former elite U.S. Navy frogman recounts the damage rioters inflicted, implying that he both witnessed the events and participated in them himself.

"There are stories to tell from generations upon generations, um, that hopefully, uh ... that hopefully it pans out to be a positive revolution," he boasts. "HOOYAH!"

Newbold, who served 24 years in the U.S. Navy and has said online that he trains civilians and police in tactical shooting, said he wanted to make lawmakers "think twice about what they're doing" and to be left "shaking in their shoes."

When reached by ABC News on Tuesday, Newbold confirmed that he had recorded his thoughts in the front seat of a vehicle on the night of the riot. He said that the FBI has interviewed him about his activities in the nation's capital, and that the bureau has asked for a second interview.

"I am cooperating with the FBI," Newbold told ABC News in a 45-minute interview in which he expressed remorse for his actions and said of the attack on the Capitol that "it was all taken too far."

Speaking in an anguished tone far different from his post-riot video, Newbold professed that he "felt rage" that day, but that he accepts that Joe Biden will be the next commander-in-chief.

MORE: Many Capitol rioters implicated by their own social media posts
"I would like to express to you just a cry for clemency, as you understand that my life now has been absolutely turned upside-down," Newbold told ABC News. "I am not a terrorist. I am not a traitor."

Like I said................ idiots.

Many Capitol rioters implicated by their own social media posts

ABC News’ Josh Margolin discusses his reporting.

Some of the most shocking images that arose from the insurrection last Wednesday were of Trump supporters streaming out of the U.S. Capitol building. These rioters had damaged and defaced government property and at least one person was killed inside.

Over the following days, local and federal authorities arrested dozens of people across the nation for their involvement in the siege and the deaths of five people since Wednesday, including Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, whose death will be investigated as a homicide.

Others, including military veterans and police officers, were implicated by their employers. The Seattle Police Department, a printing service in Maryland and a Chicago real estate agency are some that have taken action after identifying employees who participated in the riot.

Social media played a huge role in law enforcement tracking these protesters down. Many rioters posted on various platforms throughout the chaos, sharing images and video of themselves and the people with them.

Even if the users tried to remove their posts, media outlets and other users have already duplicated the images and video, sharing them widely. The FBI also put out a call for tips to help identify rioters. Law enforcement used this public information, as well as highly specialized investigative tools, according to Margolin.

“The investigation goes into very complex and high tech types of methods,” Margolin told “Start Here." “We’re talking about the ability for law enforcement to look at cellphone data. And it's not even cellphones that were necessarily being used. If you were calling home or calling somebody else, [that can be tracked with] pinging of cellphones.”

Law enforcement didn’t just scour information from Wednesday’s events. Many of the protesters who went to Capitol Hill last week posted openly about their intentions in the days and weeks leading up to the insurrection.

“In the run-up to the rally and then the riot at the Capitol, a lot of people were posting what they wanted to do, that they wanted to act out violently,” Margolin said. “They were bringing weapons. In fact, there was a discussion … on social media in advance about the rioters possibly taking members of Congress hostage using the zip ties.”

One of the key reasons authorities were so unprepared for the violent protest was because the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Intelligence and Analysis had been scaled back since the summer, Margolin said.

“What this agency was responsible for doing, and continues to technically be responsible for doing, is collecting law enforcement intelligence from inside the United States, [analyzing it] and sending it out to police agencies all over,” including the Capitol police, he said.

Again, note the line in the story about how the Trump administration scaled-back the he Department of Homeland Security's Office of Intelligence and Analysis in the months preceeding the riot

Kinda late to the party Mitch............

McConnell Reportedly Pleased about Impeachment, Wants to Purge Trump from GOP

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is reportedly pleased about efforts by Democrats to impeach President Trump a second time, saying he believes the move will make it easier for Republicans to purge Trump from the party.

McConnell has said that he believes Trump committed impeachable offenses and has indicated that he wants to see the specific article of impeachment being put forth by House Democrats, the New York Times reported.

House Democrats filed an article of impeachment against Trump on Monday, charging him with “incitement of insurrection” for his rhetoric before and during the deadly riot at the Capitol last week when Trump supporters broke past security and forced their way into the halls of Congress.

The House is scheduled to vote Wednesday on impeachment. Two Republican House members, Liz Cheney of Wyoming and Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, have already announced they will support impeachment. The White House expects up to a dozen more Republicans to defect as well.

Meanwhile, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy has reportedly asked fellow Republicans if he should ask Trump to resign in the wake of the violence. McCarthy has indicated that he would support a censure of the president over the riot and has meanwhile decided not to urge his fellow Republicans to vote against impeachment, despite the California congressman’s personal opposition to it.

The violence at the Capitol on January 6 ended with five dead and prompted bipartisan condemnation of Trump’s exhortations to his supporters at the rally in front of the White House earlier in the day.

Weaponizing GOP members of Congress??????

Republican members of Congress refuse masks during riot lockdown

While members of Congress were in lockdown during last week’s siege on the Capitol, Republican members were captured on video refusing to wear masks. Since the attack, at least three House members have tested positive for COVID-19.

https://news.yahoo.com/republican-membe ... 48160.html

Will be interesting to see what happens under Democrat-led Congress where rules are put into place to wear masks in all federal buildings.

Police have released photos of a man wanted in connection with the killing of a US Capitol police officer during the Trump riot.

Republican Senator Bill Cassidy tweeted photos shared by US Capitol Police of an older white male with a beard wearing a blue knitted hat with “CFD” on the front.

Officer Brian Sicknick was killed when supporters of the outgoing president stormed the US Capitol to try and prevent the certification of Joe Biden’s electoral win.

"US Capitol Police just shared this picture with me. This man is wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of fallen Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick," Mr Cassidy tweeted.

Mr Sicknick, 42, was reportedly hit in the head with a fire extinguisher during the ugly scenes.

The 12-year force veteran collapsed after returning to his division office and was rushed to hospital, where he died from his injuries.

“Brian is a hero and that is what we would like people to remember,” his brother, Ken Sicknick, said in a statement.

He is just the sixth US Capitol police officer to die in the line of duty.

A man who was seen wearing a sweatshirt that read “Camp Auschwitz” during the riots at the Capitol building was arrested Wednesday in Newport News, Va., according to multiple reports.

The rioter who wore the sweatshirt referencing the Nazi concentration camp in Poland was identified as Robert Keith Packer, CNN first reported. Law enforcement officials confirmed to multiple outlets that the man was arrested in the Virginia city on Wednesday.

The bottom of Packer’s sweatshirt read “Work brings freedom,” a translation of “Arbeit macht frei,” the German words on an arch over the concentration camp where over 1.1 million Jewish people and others were killed during World War II.
