Another great show with Art. And along with Art being the host, I know the show was great because it was unsettling...:eek:

Good morning, Pirates!
Sorry to have missed you all last night. I think there is to much 'itis in me now, no room for another virus. And Wednesday and Thursday nights did not help at all. Seems as if my boss decided to save money by either lowering or shutting off the heat. Not a big deal during the day when there are enough human bodies that emit enough heat for everyone's comfort. But working alone doing the overnight, that body heat just isn't there. Wednesday it went arctic temps and the temp inside went down to 62F. I was so cold. Thursday, I wore my woolen long johns and that helped, but the building was even colder, went under 60F. I worked with coat and gloves on. Needless to say, cold meds do make one sleepy, and I was out cold very early last night, under the warmth of my electric blankie.

I bless KFI because I woke at 5am and they were replaying the whole of Art's show, so I didn't miss it. Go mbheannai día a KFI!

I am so not looking forward to working tomorrow night, although today we are supposed to start warming up Even going into the 50's for a few days before it gets colder again.

As far as the flu shot, I'm one of those who are allergic to eggs. So no flu shot for me even if it was available.

Somewhere in a little book I have a recipe from some Wiccan friends of a good herbal syrup that alleviates all the flu symptoms. I must find it, I can only remember a handful of the required herbs. Feverfew, horehound, wild cherry bark, cayenne, calendula, but that's not even half. It may be my only hope.

Well, since I'm now overly rested, I will be back for Art and Ian, just have to find out where I'm listening tonight. KFI does not air Somewhere in Time, alas.

When I heard Art say this and everything else he said to that wonderful caller who asked him when he would be coming back ~~~ I just knew for sure that Something Is Afoot.

Art of necessity needs to be vague on the air, of course, and nothing may happen for awhile, but ....... Something is Definitely going on behind the scenes, don't you think ?? Something Wonderful ......:) :) :)

* LISTEN LINK *

Art Bell spoke with practicing internist Dr. Gary Ridenour about why he believes that avian flu represents the greatest health threat to mankind in the history of the world. Ridenour estimates a one in three chance of an avian flu pandemic in the near future.

He estimates this time up to one billion people could perish during the pandemic, but not solely from the virus' lethal effects. Instead, Ridenour believes many will not survive because of a disastrous infrastructure meltdown caused by the pandemic.
