Getting things ready here and will soon get the seeds started indoors then move to the greenhouse as we get later into the year and I get the garden ready.

Still snow on a lot of the garden so am looking forward to these warm days to move it off and dry things a little so I can get an idea how the beds survived.

Seed catalogs here but as I mentioned, most of mine will be from saved heirloom with supplement from the organic heirloom seeds from the catalogs.

All my gardens grow outdoors - in good compost tilled into soil and fish emulsion mixed as needed. PH levels tested at 6-8 inches down. Seeds to be started -some from heirloom yes. Some from catalogs (hybrids and heirloom). And then later finding and moving plants that grow on their own from seeds they dropped (get roma tomatoes and peppers: Yatzy types and Tobasco and a few others) often interesting where I find them.

Experimental new varieties will also be grown this year - just "because" -- :)

Hope to see more people growing gardens.
