In order to be a Progressive Democrat , you MUST live in the obsessed world of judging EVERY thing and Everyone by "Skin Color" ! EVEN TREES. Black Trees Matter’ — VP Kamala Harris Asks NASA if It Can Track Trees by Race for ‘Environmental Justice’
Vice President Kamala Harris asked NASA if it could use its satellites to track trees “by race” in various neighborhoods as part of “environmental justice” during a recent display on climate change, leading many to ridicule the vice president online and even giving rise to a “Black Trees Matter” hashtag.
Harris, who serves as chair of the National Space Council, visited Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, on Friday “to see vital climate science work.”

Pete Buttigieg: Biden Infrastructure Bill Delivers Swift Action to Fix Racist Highways
Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg celebrated President Joe Biden’s infrastructure bill on Monday, specifically referring to provisions in the bill to address infrastructure deemed by the federal government as racist.
Buttigieg noted that fixing racist infrastructure was a priority of the Biden administration, as a billion dollars was passed as part of the Reconnecting Communities Initiative in the bipartisan infrastructure bill.
Buttigieg spoke about the program during the White House press briefing, criticizing Americans who even questioned the idea that racist infrastructure projects existed.
“I’m still surprised that some people were surprised that when I pointed to the fact that if a highway was built for the purpose of deciding a white and a black neighborhood,” Buttigieg said.
Some infrastructure projects of the past, he argued, were specifically designed to separate neighborhoods, apologizing for the federal government’s role in the project.

I have to tell you, with Joe's passage of the "Infrastructure Bill" do not look to forward repairs of anything! My hunch is the revival of the Billion Dollar Train systems will be the high-light. Banning of all cars not electric, will come up on us faster. Any energy that we currently use to heat, cool, cook or give us light will be priced out of common usuage, solar, windmills, will work SOMETIMES. Remember Joe got rid of energy independance right out of the gate (1st day in office). Keep farting Joe, we may need "Joe's flatulence" to keep us warm and lit for the next few years. Also remember , Joe and master string puller , have also cut off our supply lines, So Bread Lines, will possibly pop up. No accidents, or shortages here, ALL planed and Implemented by Joe and fiends And we are going to pay through the nose for the free infrastructue money.
What really gets me is that the "Sheeple Voted for this!
The Good News...........It will change for the better, I just have to wonder who will still be alive to see and enjoy it.?
I need a new bed, I suppose it will come with an IRS person on it?

America's Ports Need More Robots, But The Infrastructure Bill Won't Fund Automation
The one thing that would most help increase efficiency at America's lagging ports is also the one thing Biden's union allies dislike the most. FULL STORY

Pete Buttigieg’s Slush Fund
Some of the $1.2 trillion to be spent pursuant to the bipartisan infrastructure bill will be devoted to true infrastructure, but a goodly portion is pork. That money will be directed to groups favored by Democrats and in many cases will have little to do with actual infrastructure. FULL STORY

The Most Wasteful Infrastructure Bill Ever?
The $1.2 trillion Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act will be signed into law by President Biden on Monday. If it is like past infrastructure bills, with all the waste endemic to previous spendathons, considerably less than 100 cents on the dollar will be spent wisely.
In fact, a White House Fact Sheet has made explicit many of the spending choices will be climate policy-driven. If the administration’s obsession with apocalyptic climate change is misplaced, then so will the choices that support it, and we will be left with a lot of spending but not a lot of infrastructure improvements.
For example, the $17 billion to improve America’s ports may sound like a good idea in light of all the supply chain problems the nation is currently experiencing. However, a close look at the port provisions in the bill reveals several climate-related priorities that won’t do a thing to improve the flow of goods, such as funds to transition ports away from using fossil fuels and toward renewable electricity.
Likewise, a good bit of the $70 billion targeted for improving America’s electric grid will be wasted. The bill steers much of the funds to green projects, like transmission lines bringing additional wind energy from remote areas to customers—investments unlikely to do much good, given the intermittent and unreliable nature of wind power.
Past federal spending on public transit has always been out of proportion to actual ridership, but the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act really goes off the deep end. The spending per transit user is likely to go through the roof, especially in a post-COVID world where even fewer Americans than before are likely to prefer packing into buses and trains over taking their own cars.
There is plenty of infrastructure funding directed at low-income communities, but once again, climate considerations take precedence. For example, the bill provides $7.5 billion in subsidies for electric vehicle charging stations, and includes requirements that poor inner-city neighborhoods get their share.
Yet, few residents in these communities have electric vehicles, and there is little reason to expect that to change. Most likely, these expensive charging stations will sit unused in the middle of communities with more pressing needs.
Past infrastructure bills were hardly models of efficiency. But the climate provisions in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act suggests this will yield even less bang for the buck.

Re: VP Kamala Harris Asks NA$A if It Can Track Trees by Race for ‘Environmental Justice’
Good Morning Doka and Riddick, I'm tracking you two daily as normal.
Tracking trees by race for E.J. is implied, Lord help us all, but no trees are named? Can they even name their nearest live tree today? LOL WTHeck is that DC saw dust all about via NA$A?
It's surely so. For 16 years our log trucking company dba WTC hauled long distances through the states of IN, IL, MI, KY, TN, NC** %#@+&£¥€√&%?, AL, AR, MO, OH, & VA transporting royal paulonia, black walnut, English "white" walnut, black "wild" cherry, white oak, black oak, red oak, yellow poplar, white ash, red pine and white pine logs (⬅ one time) all as very high valued domestic and export logs. Hmm! I may return with more racist tree colours later.
We may actually be seeing these new Woke Times changing the name of trees!
Harris' kind can't see the forest for the trees! But I wonder what tree specie's sawn hardwood made the San Francisicko mayor's desk she was so accustomed to visiting?
MK II
Edited Sunday 1/9/22: I forgot to include my "least liked state" to truck $$$ big logs inside it's borders being North Caroline! Boo! Hiss! Road salt** in Winter is reserved for their politician's dining tables among other reasons to piss off all safe American truckers!
Riddick, WI was not on my list but driving loggers pickups annually to fish in Canada though your Badger State should be included!
** Just last week a NC State Trooper was called to back up his older State Trooper brother arresting a biker. His younger trooper brother came in hot on snow and ice and killed both of them! 🗞
