Fantastic Forum - and you! Image will soon be netcasting a FF Radio Show - complete with hosts and guests. The 'talk radio show' will air for 1-2 hrs on nights to be determined.

The equipment has been ordered and we have so far been emailing volunteers for input about structure, tech support, co-ordinating volunteers, etc. for scheduling and producing, and streaming the shows.

Fantastic Forum Talk Radio Live - is just forming, and we are requesting your ideas, participation, and contributions to the show.

This thread is for brainstorming and 'wish lists', and for - well, volunteering time, ideas, auditions for guest hosts, potential guests, and original 'bumper music'.

We welcome your support and participation!

btw - this operation is non-profit and we will see what directions it takes, etc...for future organization and structuring.

We need your input!

Also see the thread here, that Morgan will be posting shortly, regarding an Art Bell fan book! The story of 'US'!

Lutefisk and dansgold - thanks for the responses. I think we have some potential consumers on board here, but maybe not too many volunteers. That's okay - as long as we have a listening audience and callers in.

Working hard on planning structure and operations, dansgold. Also have to get some more phone lines and a mixer board. Waiting for some more imput.

A question or 2 for Linnea and RC ...

How are you handling the phone-patch into the mixer?

Are you planning on any tape-delay or "ooops button" capability?

Hi Dansgold, I would love to have an OPPS Button hehe, I do not have any of that equipment. I need to price a mixer board and some type of phone patch.

The server will be here tomorrow.

I had hoped Elk would have suggestions on Phone patch equipment.....

ELK can ya help me out?

I don't know what I could offer in the way of support. My prayers are with you all even when getting myself shot me into the
abyss.

Best of luck.

Now,now Poptart radio shows need listeners too Image

Hey Lutfisk here's where you can download it at
http://www.aldostools.com/piano.html

You'll love it, I do.
I wish I could let you all hear what I wrote today, I think it's that good.
When I heard the end result I was so happy I could almost cry Image
I took some old music I wrote in basic in 1988 and really embellished it.
It's FANTASTIC

Yep. Klaa22 - Do you want to be a guest or a host Image If you want to host a show, line up a guest and a topic. We have the server up and running now, and are waiting for the phone lines (and a whole bunch of other stuff - like tech info!) We plan to get the Fantastic Forum Talk Radio stream online - with a test/pilot show - by this weekend. Maybe just in time for Norry's slot -

I guess i should go ahead & publicly acknowledge my participation in this endeavor. I have informed Linnea, and one night in ORR R/C mentioned he wanted me to take on an Open Lines show. I also may have a possible guest in line for a show.

This does sound like a lot of fun. Hey, if you don't like what's on the radio, get your own show! Image

Ha- maryals, sounds great Image

Anyone who wants to work up a 'show', send it as MP3 file to: revisedcode@publicatlarge.

Most of you have sound cards with recording capabilities. You need to get a microphone - Radio Shack has them - and read the instructions with your sound card on how to make recordings. For those of you who are able, convert the recorded file to an MP3 file and email it to [email protected]

We will be posting info on 'how to' - record these files to send in.

As Spike Mike says, should be fun!
