Nets Censor Hearing On Shady S. 1 Voting Bill To Nationalize Elections

Post by Riddick » 03-28-2021 01:23 PM

With the broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) pushing lies about Republicans supposedly trying to “roll back voting rights” and bring back Jim Crow laws, it was obviously suspicious when these same networks refused to cover the Senate’s Wednesday hearing on S. 1, a bill Democrats claimed would put an end to these GOP machinations and be the savior of voting rights.

In reality, it was a sweeping piece of legislation that stripped the states of their constitutional right to run their own elections and handed it over to the federal government. But instead of reporting on what would be an “attack on our democracy” if the parties were reversed, ABC’s World News Tonight talked about the weather while the CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News pushed the gender pay gap myth.

This was all part of the broadcast networks’ intent to cover-up any and all Democratic Party shadiness when it came to elections. Luckily, Fox News Channel’s Special Report wasn’t interested in keeping the Democratic plot a secret from their viewers. Congressional correspondent Chad Pergram was on the story and he showcased many soundbites from the hearing.

According to Pergram, Democrats were having an issue with party cohesion because of the bill. “Everyone is watching West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin. He says the bill has good things, but worries about stoking mistrust in the voting system,” he said. “Even if Democrats stick together, they lack the votes to kill the filibuster. Democrats are now mulling nixing the filibuster on all bills, be it for guns or S. 1. Both big promises to liberals.”

Despite media hype about a "landmark national expansion of voting rights," Jessica Huseman reports it will be a disaster in 2022 if passed, saying "it was written with apparently no consultation with election administrators, and it shows. While the overall message is positive, it comes packed with deadlines & requirements election administrators cannot possibly meet without throwing their systems into chaos."

Disallowing distribution of food and water to folks standing for hours in voting line ups is of course absolutely necessary to ensure voter integrity at the polls. (sarcasm) Do you think people that are hungry and thirsty are more prone to not commit voter fraud?

The law as written says nothing about banning cookies or water(etc), If they are handing out $100.00 bills that's something else. Just another "Lefty" lie, the object , being the Left be the ones in total control of elections, period, as you can tell the "Lefty" brainwashed will slober all over"tid-bits". True or not, it just don't matter.

Georgia law makes it a crime to give food, water to people waiting to vote
BY CAMERON JENKINS - 03/26/21 04:47 PM EDT 1,798

One of the most notable parts of the new Georgia voting law signed by Gov. Brian Kemp (R) on Thursday is that it would make it illegal for people to provide food or water to voters as they wait in lines to cast their ballots.

The new law includes giving food and water in a section on electioneering that places new restrictions on the practice. It compares food and drink to gifts that might be given to a voter.

The provision has repeatedly been highlighted by critics of the sweeping legislation, which some have said might have left Georgia in former President Trump's column if it had been the state's law in November.

President Biden in a statement issued by the White House on Friday called the law "Jim Crow in the 21st century."

"If you want any indication that it has nothing to do with fairness, nothing to do with decency, they passed a law saying you can't provide water to people standing in line while they're waiting to vote?” Biden told reporters later, singling out that provision.

“You don't need anything else to know that this is nothing but punitive, designed to keep people from voting. You can't provide water for people about to vote. Give me a break,” he said.

What difference does it make if the supplier of food and water is an organization, a relative or a friend? An organization does not know which party a voter is going to vote for. This is a flagrant attempt to make it hard for people to vote. The End!
