“None of us single, successful professionals ever thought that betting fifty bucks or so on the Virginia–Virginia Tech football game was a crime worthy of investigation.” Baucum apparently did. After overhearing the men wagering, Baucum befriended Culosi as a cover to begin investigating him. During the next several months, he talked Culosi into raising the stakes of what Culosi thought were just more fun wagers between friends to make watching sports more interesting. Eventually Culosi and Baucum bet more than ,000 in a single day. Under Virginia law, that was enough for police to charge Culosi with running a gambling operation. And that’s when they brought in the SWAT team.

On the night of January 24, 2006, Baucum called Culosi and arranged a time to drop by to collect his winnings. When Culosi, barefoot and clad in a T-shirt and jeans, stepped out of his house to meet the man he thought was a friend, the SWAT team began to move in. Seconds later, Det. Deval Bullock, who had been on duty since 4:00 AM and hadn’t slept in seventeen hours, fired a bullet that pierced Culosi’s heart.

Sal Culosi’s last words were to Baucum, the cop he thought was a friend: “Dude, what are you doing?”

In March 2006, just two months after its ridiculous gambling investigation resulted in the death of an unarmed man, the Fairfax County Police Department issued a press release warning residents not to participate in office betting pools tied to the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. The title: “Illegal Gambling Not Worth the Risk.” Given the proximity to Culosi’s death, residents could be forgiven for thinking the police department believed wagering on sports was a crime punishable by execution.

That same year, Virginia’s government spent million promoting the state lottery.
Oh yeah, transactions that don't proceed through official channels? Definitely a capital crime. Government/Big Business is watching all the time, everywhere.

Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men?

More importantly, who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men who want to know what evil lurks in the hearts of men?

A clandestine program knows. "The Shadow" writ large, I suppose?

What better crime-fighter for our modern age eh! Guns blazing, taking down illegal sports gamblers and other menacingly major threats to all us unsuspecting innocent souls who are otherwise blithely incognizant of what lurks.

So thus sleep soundly, good citizens and leave any and all worries to PRISM: With such an unrelenting system of surveillence seeking to eradicate evil and serve out justice, our safety and security couldn't be in better hands -

Yeah, right! If you believe THAT, it's a safe bet you've been reading WAY too many pulp fiction novels.

According to Thomas Drake, a former National Security Agency senior executive who blew the whistle on the agency’s reckless spending and spying in 2006, a previously unknown NSA surveillance program known as FAIRVIEW aims to “own the Internet.”

Last month, former NSA contractor Edward Snowden leaked a series of PowerPoint slides to the Washington Post and the Guardian revealing that the agency was engaged in a large-scale Internet surveillance program, dubbed PRISM, that collects Americans’ chats, emails, photos, and videos. One of the slides, only later released by the two papers, made reference to a group of additional “upstream” collection programs, including two named FAIRVIEW and BLARNEY, but gave no further details about their function.

Drake, who was prosecuted under the Espionage Act for his whistleblowing, explained the upstream programs to the Daily Dot.

“Upstream means you get inside the system before it’s in the Internet. In its pure form,” he said.

This isn't about catching you and your partner looking at sexy pictures online, or talking about pressure cookers. This is not about - wait, are you sitting down? - this not about liberals and conservatives.

This is about simulations. It's about what it's *always* about - massive wealth transfer schemes run by a mico-small percentage of psychos who happen to control an insane amount of resources. It's global economics, wrapped in cloaks, and designed to grossly benefit only a few insiders.[2]

It's a friggin' conspiracy. Plain and simple.

The CIA Says It Can Predict Social Unrest as Early as 3 to 5 Days Out

By Frank Konkel

October 5, 2016

What a difference 12 months can make.

Last year around this time, CIA stood up its first new office since 1963—the Directorate for Digital Innovation—a seismic shift for the agency that legitimized the importance of technology, including big data and analytics.

[...]

While intelligence analysts have access to CIA’s own classified data stores to sift through, they’re also increasingly turning to open data sets, which Brennan has said this summer have turned into a “tremendous advantage” for the agency.

“We have, in some instances, been able to improve our forecast to the point of being able to anticipate the development of social unrest and societal instability some I think as near as three to five days out,” said Hallman, speaking Tuesday at The Next Tech event hosted by Government Executive and Nextgov. The event is a part of the four-day Fedstival, which aims to look at “what's next” for the federal government in technology and management.

“What we’re trying to do within a unit of my directorate is leverage what we know from social sciences on the development of instability, coups and financial instability, and take what we know from the past six or seven decades and leverage what is becoming the instrumentation of the globe,” Hallman added.
The Machine grinds on. The only important question now is ... Trump or Clinton? Right? The outcome is known. It has been simulated.

The" Rabbit Hole" has become so deep and convoluted that it is really hard to even give a guess on outcome . As far as I'm concerned, All heads of state, and alphabet groups are all complicit until proven otherwise. Personally , I think we are all holding broken crystal balls. Something "larger" than ourselves has hit the "Global Reset" button. HANG ON!

OK. This is scary.........

Just wondering - does this mean that our government knew about Benghazi before it happened? Does this mean that our government knew (going back a few years) that leaving the Mideast and withdrawing troops would create a power struggle?

Did our government know in advance that ISIS/ ISIL "would come out of nowhere"?

Interesting thought - the government has al these people simulating events for certain individuals - when push comes to shove, and the chips are falling/ world collapsing, what will happen to the government workers? For the Suicide Squad fans out there, as I pondered this thought, I flashed to the scene where the movie's puppet master Amanda Waller strolled through a room, shooting all her computer people - after they wiped clean all their devices.........

What a friggin' mess.......
