I have Joanie and I know how you must have felt moving to another state as a kid. New country or state, it may as well be the moon.

I'm glad you're happy there, Moon!

Yes, it was pretty awful for me moving from a very urban, upscale city to the backwoods of nowhere, but I made it back "home" as soon as I could! But a life in England will always be that proverbial carrot dangling in front of me...sigh....

I was so afraid that the quarantine would affect the kitties spirit. But from the looks of that pic, they seem to be very happy campers indeed! Thanks Art! Thank you Linnea for posting. .

you are wrong..

its quicker then you think..

thay have changed alot of rules... and when you have a TEAM of lawyers working for you.. believe me... things can be done..

I think that might be a Filipino way of sucking up?

They are very cash poor there - a normal wage is just a few dollars a day - and Art is not.

I spent a long time on this site yesterday. Much good information on Philippine living there.

The Filipinos are very, very polite to each other. Anyone who is older, and foreign, is referred to as "Sir" or "Madame." When Filipinos are around their own older family members to show respect they take that person's hand and touch it to their forehead as a sign of respect. To also show an individual respect, they address older Filipinos with the Tagalog word of "Po." So someone might be referred to for example as "David Po." Calling anyone "Sir" is a respectful way in the Philippines of addressing someone.

Thanks for the post, Fish. ;) I was sure that was the case, and I believe the traditions of the Filipinos are wonderful. I also like the casual style of the communications with the ISDN provider.

Art will be on air soon....
