well, I have to admit I am happy he is back. Just because it is like a warm familiar blanket. The show also seems more 'centered' (not sure the right word here). It really, really sucks though that if he was going to leave the Phillipines it was because of threats. If he wants to come back on his own, great, but if he is just coming back due to fear... Well I think we can all agree that is bad.

Welcome home Art.
I do hope Airyn comes to love this new home.

There's nothing like hearing Art say, ~ From the High Desert ~

I'm remembering a show, long ago when Art had Stan Deyo on. They discussed something 'Big' happening around the Western side of the United States. How they would work in conjunction with each other, to help people through the event.

Does anyone else remember this show?

BTW,

Written and sung by John Denver

Back Home Again

There's a storm across the valley, clouds are rolling in,
the afternoon is heavy on your shoulders.
There's a truck out on the four lane, a mile or more away,
the whining of his wheels just makes it colder.

He's an hour away from riding on your prayers up in the sky
and ten days on the road are barely gone.
There's a fire softly burning, supper's on the stove,
but it's the light in your eyes that makes him warm.

Hey, it's good to be back home again.
Sometimes this old farm feels like a long lost friend.
Yes, and hey, it's good to be back home again.

There’s all the news to tell him, how's you spend your time,
and what's the latest thing the neighbors say?
And your mother called last Friday, "Sunshine" made her cry
and you felt the baby move just yesterday.

Hey, it's good to be back home again.
Sometimes this old farm feels like a long lost friend.
Yes, and hey, it's good to be back home again.

Oh, the time that I can lay this tired old body down,
and feel your fingers feather soft upon me.
The kisses that I live for, the love that lights my way,
the happiness that living with you brings me.

It's the sweetest thing I know of, just spending time with you.
It's the little things that make a house a home.
Like a fire softly burning and supper on the stove,
the light in your eyes that makes me warm.

Hey, it's good to be back home again.
Sometimes this old farm feels like a long lost friend.
Yes, and hey, it's good to be back home again.

Hey, it's good to be back home again.
Sometimes this old farm feels like a long lost friend.
Yes, and hey, it's good to be back home again.
I said hey, it’s good to be back home again.

My guess is that he wanted to be here with greater access to fine medical facilities should they be needed for the birth, and also for citizenship, along with his stated reasons, of course.

I think they were lovers in a previous life or mom and child...somehow related in previous lives..unusual attachment..that little dolly cannot get enough of the other cat...maybe it thinks that the other one is her mommy now...

Yes Art, glad you're home, but we haven't heard a peep from you on the forum since you are as snug-as-a-bug-in-a-rug in Pahrump (sp) :)

Looking forward to Asia Rayne's arrival. My grand-baby is due to arrive on your birthday 6/17/07 :)
