Philippine DISASTER

Post by Art Bell » 09-28-2009 02:41 AM

Hi all from Manila,

It is simply beyond all belief. 300,000 people here with
no homes, 100+ dead. The Capitol is crippled and the
misery is everywhere. Never in the history of this country
has so much rain fallen in such a short time. At one point
90% of the city of 12 Million was under water. Many of our
friends have lost everything. Please donate to the Red Cross.

I will, Art.

This is a true disaster. :(

I am glad to know you and your family are okay.

I wish you, Airyn, and Asia the very best.

Art, thanks for posting to let us know what's going on there. Corvid and I are glad to know you and your family are safe, but horrified to hear of the dire situation for others in the Philippines. :( Thanks so much for letting us know. We will do what we can to help.

I read all the ways you can donate. The direct to bank sounds best but no instructions...and no address if you want to do snail mail...I guess I'll just have to ask my bank.

Art'
Just you being there and getting the word out will help many, many people.
Thank you.

And thank George Knapp for his concerns, also.

Help is on the way.

Art,

Good to hear you all are well, but very shocked at the devastation of Luzon and some of the other islands. Stay safe.
