Ed says Aliens know the location of every nuclear weapon on our planet and will never permit a "nuclear slugfest" as he calls it.

After the "Kill Shot" an alien race will help Humanity rebuild our civilization. There will also be Humans who have been raised on other planets who will help Humanity do this according to Ed.
