Dude,
I have lots of vintage clothing and find them in thrift or consignment stores which is where these folks get their and of course estate sales.
On of my more impulsive purchases - an opera coat. I mean doesn't everyone need an opera coat? It is black and beautiful with that collar which stands up like the one which Dracula wore.
The quality of a good vintage piece is a thing of beauty - the craftsmanship so much different than today.

RA,
You know there are so few places any more which dictate proper dress that I must admit I love adherring to the dress code and proper attire.
My generation I am sure and my parents always about what is and what is not appropriate.
PS and I also want to say I admire your range of music interests - appears so well rounded.

Thank you Dio! I loves me tunes!
Last year I finally threw out many old clothes I had been lugging around for 50 years. I regret doing that. When I stumble across pictures of them in my albums I feel kind of sick about it. I had an ankle length pure suede coat with a Russian Fox Fur collar that I had bought 40 yrs ago and I threw it away. Doh!

I took it to the local dump so I'm sure it has found a new home as there are always scroungers out there. I think I did it because I bought it at a crappy time in my life and it was a constant reminder. Emotional and impulsive action.
