Local stations just reported that the suspects were/ are Russian/ Chechnyans who have been living in the US for a few years now.

I just heard an NPR 'reporter' make the Russia/Muslim connection. Then the host actually warned her not to connect too many dots. Had to lol at that - both response were ridiculous.

When I look at their pic I can't help thinking of SNL Martin and Ackroyd's "Two wild and crazy guys."

Last night on politics group live chat when the MIT bit hit -- in Cambridge -- I made the comment - about "don't suppose?" in response to talk about the Boston bombers in connection to the MIT shooting.

AND yes they were Muslims and supposedly here for about a decade.

What I heard was tha they were Chechnyan. Chechnyans are not Russians...... Alternative explanation is Turkish - they dont' know for sure yet

no, sadly I do not. But, the official story is well underway. It was the commie russkie muslim pressure cooker bombers with no motive and the stupidest setup "capture" of all time. Makes sense to me, case closed.

The klist of colleges beinng closed has expanded to SE Mass - Bridgewater State has closed, so has U Mass/ Dartmouth. The explanation being given is that authorities think he is moving south towards Connecticut where allegedly he has family members.
