Tornado season runs from April to October in WI - I can't say how it's been for the rest of the state, but IIRC in my neck of the SE corner we've only had 2 watches & 0 warnngs so far this year.

Tho way more common here than atop a mountain, we don't see them every day. And the less we see them the better. I'll also have to say projections of possible tornados are welcome yet for obvious reasons they're the kind of "best guesses" I don't mind when weather forecasts don't bear fruit.
