So instead of the heat they projected in earlier extended outlooks, the first day of fall has us cool & wet with forecast highs hovering around 70º thru the 5th.
Could be better, could be worse. Can't complain, really. Winter's still a ways off!

That it din't happen is proof forecasting isn't fool-proof. Yet fools buy into radical CC theory with no real proof. It's as fine a job of phony baloney science as it gets. So's their approach to applying 'fixes'. If it ain't broke enuff, break it some more! -

If not for that frosty outbreak, the on the vine ripening could've continued. The outlook has upper 50s, 60s & 70s highs next 10 days. No strain on the furnace -
Any case I'm stocked AND stoked for good eatin's. Gimme the real deal any day - Yay for garden variety tomatoes! They put store bought to shame. BLT! BLT! BLT!

We are to have our first freeze tonight 27°. This seems to be really Late. Then back to high 30s and ,ow 40s for quite a while.

So there's snow on the ground in my SE WI neck of the woods with a forecast 1-3" more tomorrow. If it's still there for gun deer season starting Saturday it'll help the hunt, tho there'll be plenty shooting, boozing & watching stag films regardless eh!
