Ancient fish beds on Mars?? Seems like with all the dust storms through out the millenia that these would have been buried long ago.
It just seems odd that there is a spot there that was cleared away by some thing while the surounding area is cluttered with rocky debre.
Ancient or not some made that bed.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy!

Swim look out farther than where you circled. There is a big smooth spot. If ya look at the big picture that shows the horizon there are a lot of them. Pretty cool stuff. This should get really interesting in the months to come.
