Cannibis and Consiousness

Post by Patric » 02-26-2005 07:01 PM

You are born and are given no "rule book" on Life, so you automatically feel out of place.

You first notice in school the social order that unfolds: the cool ones, the nerds, the quasi-nerds, the jocks, etc. This mandatory "categorizing" offends you. In your heart you want everyone to be equal.

This world, you discover, uses judgment. You are now forced to judge others in order to survive or ascend in the social order.

This alarms you.

Life is suddenly not so special.

"What the hell am I doing here?" you protest

You are a stranger in a strange land.

But your consciousness tells you you are not alone.

This is instictual to you, so you gravitate towards various religions. All prove ineffectual.

And then you discover consciousness, and your whole world begins to reshape itself.

Once again you're a child (with well-intended thoughts). Your consciousness--which was there all along--becomes clearer. Profoundly, you're aware that you have a consciousness and that your consciousness is somehow being expanded.

You have *finally* begun to realize other people are co-equals in this experience too. You now want to reach out to them, just as you did when you were a child.

These years of...wasted days and nights...worrying incessantly...about...nothing. That may be your only concern.

That time means absolutely nothing in the Ether (or the universe, for that matter) will cure you of the mourning of lost time. Eventually.

In the meantime continue to soak in the pleasant consciousness-hive around you. Partake in cannibis, responsibly, and reinforce and recharge the batteries. Also, pray or meditate or whatever it takes to quiet the mind, at least temporarily. This quietitude is healthy for your body and psyche.

Keep exploring consciousness-related websites as well. The Internet is an invaluable and cherished gift we have so take advantage of it. For eons we didn't have the ability to communicate with anyone worldwide. Now of course we can -- instantly.

So share your feelings; share your ideas.

And above all keep Love in your thoughts.
