Fantastic Forum Pirates - Tweet!

Post by Linnea » 05-01-2010 08:58 PM

Follow FFpirates on Twitter:

http://twitter.com/FFpirates

Once you get there, click on 'Home' at the top links, and you can read the 'tweets' for those the FFpirates are following...

Ha! We're tweeting! :D

Why can't you, Bobbi? Just click the link and read it. That's all you have to do. (I'm not registered there, either, but I read several different tweets just for fun.)

Geez. If I had the guts, I would ask this: what's the difference between Twitter and posting 24/7 on the FF?

But I don't have the guts to ask. So never mind!
Did you ever stop to think, and then forget to start again?

Hi, Laura! :)

Good question. Social networking sites are really taking off. I don't twitter on a cell phone, but you can visit on the web. What is cool as Joolz pointed out is you can get 'tweets' from persons you are 'following' - like Michio Kaku, Graham Hancock, Whitley Striber, John Hogue...and so on. All in one place!

Just an added dimension for fun.

Why can't you visit the FFpirates Twitter on the internet, Bobbi? Nothing serious, I hope.

Who else should we add to the Fantastic Forum feed?

You know - those who are mysterious and reassuring.

I get updates from Graham Hancock and Whitley Strieber on Facebook; although on Facebook, you have to either be someone's "friend," or sign up for their "fan" page, if they have one.

Do they seem to have their FB posts coordinated with their Tweets?

Really. This stuff is a bit complicated.

Don't know a lot about it, but mobile applications seem to be the future. Just seems good to get some of the turf out there.

With the new 3&4G networks, I guess the internet will still be included though - and I am glad for that.
